Luther
It was freezing cold. Every inch of my body was damp and paralyzed- It was as though my senses were dying alongside my soul. Like a piece of ripped up paper, my life ceased to exist.
Slowly, my breath was taken away. And I was falling. This is it. This is finally the end, I thought, as I reached the frigid ground. I was completely soaked with chilly, bitter water.
Gasping, my eyes slowly opened; analyzing the scene before me, my orbs scanned the judgmental snickering faces of my classmates. Suddenly, all the shock left my body- getting replaced with anger and fury.
Upon seeing my incandescent glare, the snickers came to a stop, and soon, the class was silent. It became vacant of the useless chattering of ignorant braggers. It was so silent that the ticking of the worn-out wall clock that hung on one of the shitty, sickening dirty walls of this despicable homeroom, could be heard.
The entire room was littered and unorganized, desks were thrown around, chairs upside-down, pens and books were strewn about the floor. My eyes darted toward the chalk board that had several obscene and immoral words written upon it. Landing on an extremely foul word, I smiled. This was why I loved this fucked up school. Because everything in it was just that, Fucked up.
Continuing to scrutinize my surroundings, my globes looked on with disinterest at the half-witted boys in my class. They were all staring at me. Why were they staring? What right did they have to stare?!
My lips moved to snap at them, then stopped. Realizing that I was drenched wet with piercing water I became infuriated. My eyes went up to look at the culprit, and I glared venomously.
The voice that came out was low and dangerous, "Carter." I spit out the last name in such a vitriolic way that the smile was wiped straight off of the fucker's face, my gaze burned into his-now fearful-expression. "What do you think you're doing?"
The boy gulped at my calm and collected voice, time passed as I kept on staring; waiting for a reply. When it didn't come, I pressed on. "Well? Aren't you going to explain the situation?" The kid was trembling now and that caused me to chuckle darkly. What a wimp. "Guess I have to take matters into hand."
You see, the truth was, I was planning on letting him go off with a friendly punch on the jaw. However, with him failing to reply to my question, he was going to get so much more than a broken jaw.
Taking my time rising from my seat- I grinned. Someone in the background gasped, but that was not a surprise. I'd always gone around beating up dastards that'd get in my way; it's simple, nobody should interrupt my peace.
The kid was shaking violently as I approached him. When I was inches away and hovering over him- my 6'3" frame looking down at him, he did something that made me laugh sinisterly. He got down on his knees and put his hands together in a begging gesture.
"I'm sorry! It was just a joke man...I'm so sorry, please don't hurt me!" This was too funny.
Pathetic, really.
Deciding I had grown bored of his melodramatic act, I said, "Get the fuck up," through grinding teeth. This guy was too weak. Even though Carter was known for his fooling around and exaggeration of everything, he wasn't a good person. Then again, nobody in this trashy school was what one would call 'good'.
