Chapter 31.
(Flashback.)
Five years ago...
In a small town situated on the outskirts of the city, innocent families lived gleefully and enjoyed the simplicity they lived in.
The town was penurious, and lacking in many ways—yet, their rustic ways of living didn't seem to bother the citizens of the town.
Every day, children would run around happily, playing with each other until they were called in for dinner. Luther and his friends were no different.
They were young troublemakers that were loved by all. They were sweet little kids who loved their town and people. Everyone was so happy.
That was until the day their lives were ruined came.

A beautiful blonde woman danced around the kitchen on a delightful sunny morning. Her slim figure waltzed about as she cooked a nice meal for her boys.
The woman's hums of joy resonated through the empty room, filling the house with the mood of elation.
"Up early, darling?" a rough voice asked, walking up to the woman and pecking her lovingly. The woman chuckled, a blush lightening up her clear porcelain cheeks. The man noticed the woman's reaction and chuckled, "I've been married to you for fifteen years and yet, you still blush over the simplest things I do to you, my lovely Sandra."
This emitted greater redness on the soft cheeks of the woman-Sandra. She playfully smacked her husband's shoulder. "Oh, shush, Tyler! It happens involuntarily!" she whispered, leaning up to kiss him gently.
Tyler's lips tugged up in a content smile as he reciprocated, returning her kiss and wrapping his arms around her waist. "I love you, darling."
"I love you too-"
"Ew! Dad, mom, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that in front of us!" a brown haired twelve year-old complained childishly, secretly grinning at how love-struck his parents were.
His parents pulled away from one another and looked at their mischievous son, grinning meekly. "Lu, you're up!" Sandra fumbled, walking over to her son and hugging him.
Tyler scoffed childishly. "Hey! You're my wife, not his!" he pouted, walking over to his family and wrapping his arms around the both of them.
The young boy glared at his father playfully all while returning his hug and said, "Oi, she's my mother, I came out of her va-"
"Alright, alright, lil man." Tyler chuckled, cutting his son off.
A loud yawn broke the family out of their embrace, and they looked at the other member of the family, Matthew. The boy was rubbing his eyes as he scrambled along the floor, his oversized pajama pants falling off his slim hips with every step he took.
Sandra smiled softly as she looked at her son. She walked over to him and fixed his pants, rolling the bottom parts so he could stop stepping on them and tucking his undershirt into them. "Good morning, Matty," she said, kissing the forehead of the sleepy boy and smiling softly.
"Good morning, mom." Matt smiled, and walked over to his dad, giving him a hug as well.
Tyler patted his son's light brown hair in adoration and greeted his son.
