Luther
Through my 17 years of living, not once had I heard something as ridiculous as what the man in front of me just uttered.
This Charles Bongram guy had the decency to interrupt my friends and I's peace and claim nonsense? And he so fucking ignorantly called us 'troubled teenagers'?! What right did this piece of shit have!?!
And so it happened; I fumed.
"Listen up dipshit. Take your bullshit spouting mouth with you and leave before I make you regret ever stepping a foot here." I stated with rage. My vision was getting blurry and I was seeing black spots, fists clenching and unclenching in an attempt to calm down.
I've always had trouble controlling my anger. That had always been my weakness. My bad temper got me into horrible situations and I wasn't going to deny hating it. However, at that moment I was too consumed by my own fury to care.
Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Still blinded by rage, I snapped my head toward the owner- only to be met by Matt's icy blue eyes, which somehow managed to hold an understanding look within them. He must've woken up sometime within the exchange. "Hey, Lu, calm down bro. Let's think this through before acting," he stated soothingly. And in that moment I realized something...I let my emotions overcome my rationality. Huge mistake on my part.
Quickly regaining my sanity back, I calmly coughed out, "alright, say you are being sincere; how exactly did you find us, I mean who informed you about us?"
It truly was weird; this guy just randomly comes out of nowhere and claims being an agent of some academy sent to escort us with him? Surely someone must've told him about our whereabouts. The question was- who would do that?
Then, it hit me. I chuckled at my own ignorance. Of course someone from our school would've ratted us out. Everyone there hated us, from teachers to students to janitors.
"The identity is confidential, but if it makes you feel better, it was sent as an anonymous request a couple of weeks before the school term started." The guy, Charles, clarified.
"I bet it's that fucking principal; he hates our guts," scowled Cliffie.
Julie laughed slightly. "Everyone in our school hates us, Cliffie. It could've been anyone." Cliffie shrugged in agreement.
Deciding to ignore my idiotic friends, I continued, "I'm guessing you want to take us to that academy you work at?"
Charles nodded.
"Sorry to break it to you, Charles, but that ain't happenin' we're not going anywhere. You may leave." I smirked.
The man dared to let out a silent laugh. He then looked at Matt and said, "you, young man seem to be the most sensible one here," he handed Matt a business card. "Think it over. It really is a great option of change...you will not regret it."
Matt just nodded harshly at him, one hand still on my shoulder to calm me down once again as he sensed that I was about to jump on that dipshit and kill him. "I'll look through it." He leaned in to receive the card from the guy.
"I'm staying in this city for a week. You've got until Thursday to make a decision...don't bother coming later than that." And with that he left.
