Chapter 20.

Endellion

Luther's sleeping face's simply adorable.

He was sleeping on the bed next to mine, curled up in a blanket, looking like a huge ball. His face was undeniably attractive all loosened up, no glares or creases visible—just a peaceful look of serenity bestowed upon his masculine features.

His raven hair was all over his face, resting on his head looking like an outrageous bird's nest. There was a dribble of drool sliding out of his half-opened, lightly snoring mouth, and onto the pillow he slept in.

My nose wrinkled as I witnessed the drool dribbling down his face and onto the pillow. Of course, me being the creep I was, I had to take a picture of this peaceful sleeping angel. For future purposes, that is.

As my hand moved towards my bedside table in order to get my phone, I remembered that Matt currently has possession of my phone.

Sighing, I moved my hand through my hair in frustration. I knew for a fact that this moment would not be repeated ever again, and that I've certainly missed the chance of good blackmail against Mr. Luther.

Bringing my gaze back to the sleeping boy, I noticed how his hands were clenched into fists, and how the serene expression on his face was no longer visible, but taken over by a nasty, troubled one.

My feet moved before my brain could process my actions as I went over to Luther's bed, grabbing onto his clenched hands without thinking.

Gently, I moved my fingers to his pale ones, slowly opening them and in the process, bringing back some of the color into them.

Luther stirred at the action but did not wake up. I inwardly let out an exhale as I moved to his other hand.

As my hand touched his fisted one, my other hand was roughly grabbed by the hand I previously opened.

Gasping softly, I looked up down at our now intertwined hands. Electricity shot through my veins, causing goosebumps to appear onto my skin, raising the small hairs on my back and hands.

My lower lip was taken into my mouth as I bit on it hard, trying to stop whatever I was feeling.

"You should really stop biting your lips. You'll end up eating that bottom lip of yours without noticing," a hoarse voice spoke up, breaking into the silence.

I looked up to see Luther looking at me with his usual stoic expression.

I swear, with him, it's either he's mad or, well, emotionless, I thought sarcastically to myself.

"Harhar, so funny," I rolled my eyes heavenwards, before looking back at him.

Luther kept on a bored expression as his thumb played with my knuckles, "but then again, seeing your eating habits, I wouldn't be surprised if you would."

Letting out a snort, I couldn't help but smile a bit, looking down at our joined hands for moment, before looking back at his smirking face.

His hand felt so good in mine...

"Delly..." he said slowly. I raised an eyebrow in question at him. He continued, "what were you doing?"

My cheeks heated up as I subconsciously bit my lip once again and said, "your hands were clenched. I- well, you looked troubled so I..." I trailed off.

Amusement was evident in his features, "you wanted me to ease up?"

Not knowing what to say, I nodded in embarrassment.
