Chapter 25 part 1

Luther

"And therefore, the planets end up orbiting around sun, due to the Sun's gravity pull on them." The brunette concluded her presentation, shutting down the crappy power point presentation she had displayed on the projector.

Some of the audience clapped, but most of them were simply bored out of their minds. I didn't blame them at all. This shit was by far the most tedious thing I had to go through in my entire life.

Max's turn was after the next one and that was the only thing I was excited for.

Partly because I want to see the cute pictures and videos I took of a certain green-eyed girl, I thought, chuckling at my own silliness.

Speaking of the devil, Endellion had gone out of the room in a hurry with Cecily following her some time ago without an explanation. I was tempted to follow her, but I knew that I shouldn't- I mean, the girl deserved her privacy as well.

I was sitting on the bleachers where all of the parents and students that were not participating in the science fair sat.

Julie was snoozing beside me, unaware of what was happening. Cobra was sitting beside Julie, casually drumming his fingers on his thighs. Matt and Cliffie were talking animatedly with smiles on their faces.

The both of them made up, and were now back to normal. It was evident that Cliffie hadn't fully accepted the fact that Matt had a crush on a girl, but he was dealing with it in a civil way. And I respected the boy for that.

Max was sitting where the participants were sitting, behind the judges in the middle.

As for William Cage, well, he was nowhere to be seen. Up until now, at least.

I wondered what his reaction would be when he sees us; will he even remember our faces? I mean, the last time he saw us was more than five years ago, so I doubted he'd remember us.

However, I knew that if we jotted down his merry way to memory lane, he'd surely remember us.

And I was definitely going to do that, one way or another.

All of a sudden, the doors of the gymnasium opened, and in an elated looking Endellion ran, holding hands with Cecily, who seemed just as pleased as her friend.

Endellion's face glowed with alongside her smile. She looked like an angel.

A part of me wondered what made her this happy. I quickly dismissed it, however.

The two girls walked up the bleachers, coming to sit next to us. Endellion took a seat beside me, still grinning madly.

Cecily took a seat beside Endellion, and greeted us, "Hey guys."

"Hi," Matt and Cliffie welcomed warmly. Cobra didn't pay her much mind, as he continued staring at the girl that was presenting right now.

I nodded at Cecily, then looked at the blonde sitting next to me, smiling manically at nothing, "What's gotten you in such a happy mood?" I questioned.

That seemed to knock her out of her reverie, as she sent me a cute smile and said, "he's coming,"

"Who..?" I questioned quietly, feeling a pang in my chest. Was it by chance...Tristan?

Endellion didn't seem to hear me, as she turned around and began chatting with Cecily.

I mentally groaned, as I felt the familiar despicable feeling bile up in my chest. I didn't like this one bit.
