The sun rays that peeked through the window collided with my face causing me to bring the covers over my head. Huh, these sheets are softer than what I remembered. And the bed, it was more comfortable. I rub my eyes and sit up before realizing that this wasn't my room.
"Where the hell am I?" I ask and I suddenly remember.
I guess it wasn't a dream, I actually agreed to marry the famous billionaire Adrian McKeller. Why couldn't it have just been a nightmare? I lay back down on the bed with a sigh as I place my arm over my forehead. Huh, I was actually desperate enough to sign that contract with Mr. Rich. What have I done? The grumble of my stomach distracts me from my thoughts and I decided to go find something to eat. I walk out of the bed and head to the hallway. Wait, what is the way to the kitchen? The direction I took leads me to a door. Great I went the wrong way! Stupid mansion, why'd you have to be so damn big? I open the door and am surprised it was an empty room. Mhmm, they are probably remodeling it or something.
"Jane what are you doing here?" Adrian growls.
I turn around and find him standing there in front of me, shirtless.
"I-I... errr I kinda got lost." I reply as I force my eyes to stare at Adrian's face and not his well toned chest.
"Yeah well let's try not to get lost anymore," He retaliated as his eyes gave me a hard look.
What did I do now? I just got lost and ended up in an empty room, and he got mad for that. Something is wrong with him!
"It's not like I know this place like the back of my hand so it should be understandable if I get lost." I retort.
"Would you like me to draw a map out for you your majesty." Adrian responds sarcastically.
I roll my eyes and start walking away, I wasn't sure where I was walking to but I wanted to get as far away from this man. I wasn't going to argue with him on an empty stomach.
"Where is it you are trying to get to?" He asks and I could sense he had a smirk splattered across his well molded face.
"To the kitchen." I answer.
"Kitchen's the other way." Adrian states just as I start walking to the left.
"Of course it is." I mumble before heading towards the right.
I walk straight and come out at the main staircase. I walk down the stairs as I let my nose guide the way. I could smell eggs, bacon, and the best of all freshly made pancakes. I enter the kitchen to find the cook and a girl? Her back was to me, the only thing I could see was her light brown blonde tipped wavy medium length hair that seemed to shine in the light. She was wearing a red patterned flannel shirt dress and a pair of black boots. My first guess was that she was probably one of Adrian's many sluts. Who knew I was extremely wrong?
"Good morning Ms. Hamilton, how did you sleep?" The cook, Fernando states as I try to shush him but I was too late.
The girl had turned around, and now I had a full view of her face. Her light blue eyes stared at me, as if she was checking me up.
"Who are you." She ask as she raised an eyebrow.
I was about to answer but my eyes diverted from her face to her wild hair, which was all over the place. I bite my lip trying my hardest not to burst into uncontrollable laughter.
