A Trip to Cancun (Part I)

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Adrian asks one more time and I nod.

"It's the only way our secret will be safe again." I answer. Adrian nods and the door to the limousine is opened. As soon as we step out we are attacked by a swarm of reporters throwing questions at us. The body guards Adrian hired lead us into the building safely.

"Jane, Adrian its nice to see you again." Henry, the director of Glitz show states. "Even if it's in these bad circumstances."

"It's nice to see you too Henry, you know that your company is the only one I trust." Adrian answers causing Henry to smile proudly. He leads us towards the stage room the interview will take place at.

"Jane, Adrian you can wait here." He instructs as he opens the door to the make up and hair room. "While you are waiting they'll do your makeup Jane."

I nod as I take a seat in front of a vanity as the make up and hair crew start working on me. Adrian takes a seat at one of the couches while we wait. He throws me a smile which I return. The stylist start tugging at my hair while the make up artists throw powders in my face.

In only a matter of twenty minutes we are being led into the backstage as Henry reads through what we are supposed to do when we walk in.

"We are on in three...two...one!" The cameras focus on our interviewer as she welcomes the viewers to the show.

"Today on Glitz, we have an interview with CEO of McKeller Industries and his beautiful fiancé Jane." The girl states and Adrian and I walk in.

We greet our interviewer before taking a seat on the white couches.

"So, there have been a lot of rumors going around since your birthday party a couple days ago." The girl states. "What can you tell us about them? Is it true your marriage is because of an agreement?"

"No, our marriage is true and pure as is our love. As I told you when we here not so long ago, that Jane and I met and I fell for her. I love Jane, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her." Adrian turns to look at me and interlocks our hands as the audience aw's.

"Jane, Damon Jacob recently went on an interview with Showbiz and he confirmed that you two dated. What do you have to say about that?" The attention and camera is then turn to me causing my pulse to accelerate. Stay calm Jane.

"Yes, I did date Damon Jacob." The room gasps and I mentally roll my eyes. "We were secretly dating, but this was before I had met Adrian. At that time I was working at Jacob Corporations, something I believe Damon didn't mention was the fact that his father fired me after telling Damon to break up with me. You see, his parents didn't know about us. They and I quote 'didn't think I was worthy enough for their son'. His parents threaten Damon to take away his fortune if he didn't break up with me, Damon preferred his money over me and I ended up jobless. Mr. Jacob, made it impossible for me to able to find a job as assistant and I had to take a job as waiter. But I am thankful because I got to meet Adrian, my one and only true love."

"Well folks, you heard it here first!" The girl states. "Adrian and Jane's love is pure and so is their marriage. There is no agreement between them, and it has been confirmed. As well as the fact that Damon Jacob is a complete jerk."

"And cut!" The director announces as the cameras are turned off.

"Thank you so much for the interview." Henry thanks once again.
