Rescuing Her (Part I)

Adrian's POV:

I look at my wrist watch and realize it's been more than five minutes since Jane went to go get the cupcake holders.

"I'm going to go see if Jane needs help." I excuse myself before heading to outside. I become alarmed when I find the door to the car opened and the cupcake holders on the floor. "Jane?!"

I run to the car and see if she's inside but nothing. The car keys I had given her to open the car were also on the floor. I run back inside and everyone turns to look at me alarmed.

"Jane's gone." I state and a worried look forms on their faces.

"What do you mean she is gone?" Marshall asks.

"The door to the car was open. The keys and cupcake holders were on the floor and she isn't there." I explain.

"We need to call the police." Sara states as she begins to dial the number on her phone.

"My parents have a private investigator." I respond. "I'm going to go see if he can help us."

"I'll come with you." Sebastian replies before we both head out the door.

I take my phone out and call my dad. He answers after the second ring.

Dad: Hello?

Me: Dad, Jane was taken! Can you contact Jerald?

Dad: Of course. I'll call him right now. Where was she taken?

Me: We were at her friend's house for her sister's birthday party. She went to go get the cupcake holders from the car and she was gone.

Dad: Alright, come to the house and I'll contact Jerald now.

Me: Thank you. See you at the house.

I end the call and climb into the car with Sebastian. I turn the engine and speed down the streets to my parent's house.

"Calm down Adrian," Sebastian advices. "I'm sure we will find her."

I slow my speed as we near my parents house. At the gates I press the button for the gates to open.

"Who is this?" Garret's voice asks.

"It's Adrian." I answer and soon the gates open. I drive and park the car outside of the mansion. "Come lets go."

Sebastian and I exit the car and head into the mansion.

"Adrian, I heard what happened." Gabby states as she walks down the stairs with Angelica.

"Who could've taken her?" Angelica asks. "You don't think it was Damon do you?"

"At this point I don't know what that bastard is capable of anymore." I truthfully answer.

"I swear if that douchebag is the one who took her I am going to kill him." Sebastian threatens.

"Who are you?" Angelica's eyes switch to Sebastian.

"I'm Jane's friend." He answers. "I came to help Adrian find her."

"Adrian, you are here." Dad's voice echoes through the room. "Come, agent Sanchez is here along with Jerald."

He leads us to his office where the two men awaited for us. They were seated near the fireplace.

"Agent Sanchez. Jerald. Thank you for coming." I state and they nod.

"In order to find Jane we need to know if she had any enemies and were exactly she was taken from." Agent Sanchez informs.
