"Jane," A familiar voice states as someone gently pushes me. "Jane get up."
I groan and pull the sheets over my head. There is a sigh before I hear footsteps walking away. I smirk and snuggle into my comfortable pillow. I don't notice the sound of footsteps coming back and the presence in front of me until a freezing cold liquid comes pouring down my face.
"Ah!" I yell out as I quickly sit up in bed and I feel the water running down my face to my chest. "What the hell Adrian!"
Adrian just smirks and states, "You wouldn't wake up the nice way so I had to bring out the big guns."
I notice his state was on the drop of water rolling down to my chest.
"My eyes are up here." I stated as I pointed to my eyes with my index and middle finger.
Adrian just rolled his eyes and pulled the covers off me making my mouth fall in disbelief.
"Didn't your parents teach you any manners?" I fumed.
I was getting really tired of this rude asswhole standing in my room!
"Didn't your parents teach you to wake up on time?" He responded making me drop the covers back on the floor.
Low move Adrian!
"Get out now!" I ordered as a tear threaten to escape.
"I am sorry." Adrian replied as he finally realized what he had just said.
"Leave." Was the only thing I said as I pointed to the door.
Without saying another word Adrian left my room and I let out a long sigh.
"Breathe Jane, (sigh) just breathe." I repeated as I tried not to remember.
Once my anger was calmed I head towards the bathroom. I turn on the tap and strip out of my clothes before entering the warm water.
She works the night, by the water
She's gonna stress, so far away from her father's daughter
She just wants a life for her baby
All on her own, no one will come
She's got to save him (daily struggle)
She tells him "ooh love"
No one's ever gonna hurt you, love
I'm gonna give you all of my love
Nobody matters like you (stay up there, stay up there)
She tells him "your life ain't gonna be nothing like my life (straight)
You're gonna grow and have a good life
I'm gonna do what I've got to do" (stay up there, stay up there)
So, rockabye baby, rockabye
I'm gonna rock you
Rockabye baby, don't you cry
Somebody's got you
Rockabye baby, rockabye
I'm gonna rock you
Rockabye baby, don't you cry
Rockabye, no (Rockabye-rocka-rocka-rocka-bye) (oh)
Rockabye, yeah, yeah (Rockabye-rocka-rocka-rocka-bye)I hum the rhythm to the male part of the song before I start singing again.
Now she gotta a six year old
Trying to keep him warm
Trying to keep all the cold
When he looks her in the eyes
He don't know he's safe when she says
"Ooh love"
No one's ever gonna hurt you, love
I'm gonna give you all of my love
Nobody matters like you
So, rockabye baby, rockabye
I'm gonna rock you
Rockabye baby, don't you cry
Somebody's got you
Rockabye baby, rockabye
I'm gonna rock you
Rockabye baby, don't you cry (Bidda-bang-bang-bang, alright then)
Rockabye, no (Rockabye-rocka-rocka-rocka-bye) (Oh)
Rockabye, yeah (Rockabye-rocka-rocka-rocka-bye) (yeah)
Rockabye don't bother cry
Lift up your head, lift it up to the sky, yo
Rockabye don't bother cry
Angels around you, just joy your eye
