"Are you ready?" Adrian asks and I nod in response. I flatten out my beige and black laced dress as I step out of the car.
"Do I look good?" I ask nervously.
Adrian smiles down at me and answers, "You always look good."
I smile at him and he interlocks our hands. We walk into the restaurant and the doors are open for us.
"Adrian McKeller." He tells the restaurant receptionist.
"Right this way," He answers as he leads us to a table set up in the balcony. There were six seats set up. Adrian pulled a chair out for me and I took the seat after handing him a grateful smile. "I'll have a waiter with you right away Mr. McKeller."
"We would like to wait for our guest to arrive first." Adrian politely answers and the receptionist nods. He walks away leaving Adrian and I alone.
"I can't believe I am about to meet them after eighteen years." I confess nervously. Adrian placed his hand over mine and gives it a comforting squeeze.
"Everything will be okay." Adrian assures. "They have one hell of a daughter."
I smile up at him as he tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. I peck his lips and he returns the smile.
"Mr. McKeller?" A male voice asks from behind us and we both stand up and turn around.
"Mr. Zamora, it is nice to meet you." Adrian asks as I peek from behind him. There stood a man in about his late forties with a woman next to her. Same brown hair, same brown eyes. "I'd like you to meet my fiancé, Jane Hamilton."
Adrian smiles at me as he brings me to his side. The couple stared at me as their eyes widen.
"Hi." Is the only thing that leaves my mouth as the two pairs of watery eyes stare down at me.
"How are you...t-they told us you had died." My mom who was now in tears stated.
"Mom? Dad? What's going on?" A female voice asked from behind them.
Two younger versions of me walked out from behind them. They shared the same brown hair and brown eyes. Only that one of them had shorter hair and look a little older than the other.
"Who are these people?" The younger one asked.
Instead of answering my mom walked up to me and engulfed in a hug. The same warmth, the same feeling of safety that I had yearned for was there. Another set of arms wrapped themselves around us and he tears streamed down my face.
"My little girl, all these years and we thought you were dead." Dad stated as I hugged my parents back.
When we pull away my mom strokes my cheek as she stares at me with a smile.
"My baby." She stated. "You were torn away from us but now we found you."
"You have grown to be a nice young lady." My dad answers.
"Mom who is this?" The other girl, my sister asked.
"Caitlyn this is your sister." Mom answered causing the girls's jaw to drop.
