"What did she say to you?" Axel asked.
"Hmmm?"
"You and Storm had obviously been talking," Axel responded. "What did she say?"
"She was ranting about the Alphas," I lied.
"What Alphas?" Axel asked.
If I was going to get Storm into Derek's territory I was going to have to try something.
"Well it was more she was ranting on about Derek from Red Moon," I replied.
"What about him?" Axel asked.
"Well I couldn't get much out of her but I think something happened with Derek," I answered.
"Well then we'll go to him," Axel decided.
"What?" I asked pretending to be surprised. "With who?"
"You, me, Jack and a few other wolves," Axel answered.
"Why don't we take Storm?" I suggested.
"Why?" Axel asked.
"Well even if I'm wrong Derek might be able to get something out of her," I answered.
I hated lying to him and my wolf was annoyed but I had made a promise to Storm and I intended to keep it. Axel sighed and nodded.
"I don't like that idea but I guess there is sense in it," he muttered.
I wanted to cheer. I didn't though.
"Tomorrow we will present you to the pack and a few days after that we will go to Derek," Axel decided.
I nodded. I felt bad for lying to him but I felt happy for Storm.
