The Half-Blood Alpha

Chapter 33

The drive back home was quiet and everyone was giving Storm shocked looks. She was grinning, clearly proud of herself.

"You just took on an Alpha and won," Mike said shocked.

"Yes I did," Storm smirked.

"Derek's pack are going to go after you," Axel warned.

"I don't care," Storm responded.

"Are you going to stay in Sky Wind?" I asked.

Storm shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe,"

The drive continued on in silence. Will and his wolves left and Storm went with them back to Sky Wind. Once we got back to our territory. Axel led me to our room. He sat down and held me to his chest.

"Is something wrong?" I asked him.

"I was so worried," he whispered. "I thought Lachlan was going to kill you,"

"I'm okay," I promised.

Axel turned me around so I was facing him. Then he crashed his lips into mine. His fingers dug into my waist. I responded moving my mouth with his. He moved away trailing kisses down my neck towards the claim.

His lips lingered there. His hands massaged my waist and I couldn't stop the smile that crept onto my face. When Axel pulled away I was disappointed. He smiled at me.

"What is going to happen now?" I asked.

Axel shrugged. "Well Derek's Beta will take over the pack. Derek never had any pups. His mate died years ago. His beta will be a lot more reasonable and will hopefully leave us alone. As for Lachlan I don't know. Why he teamed up with Derek in the first place is beyond me,"

"So everything is going to be okay?"

Axel smiled. "For now, yes it will,"

"I love you," I whispered.

"I love you too," Axel responded.
