When I woke up Axel was gone. I didn't know where he was and my wolf wanted his company. I changed into a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. Downstairs I found Will. He was sitting in front of a table his chin resting on his hands.

"Hi," I said cautiously.

He looked up at me. He looked tired.

"Hi Hanna," he responded.

"How come your here?" I asked curiously.

"Your mate let me stay here," Will answered.

"Where's Storm?" I asked.

"She's staying here too," Will replied.

I sat down opposite him.

"So you're meant to be an Alpha?" I asked.

"Yeah,"

"Are you going to be an Alpha after all this?" Will shrugged. "Depends on Storm,"

"You really care about her don't you?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Storm says she shifted after she turned eighteen. You're eighteen now, when did she shift?" I asked.

"A few weeks before you guys got me out," Will responded.

"She's older but I kinda feel like you're her older brother," I told him.

Will smiled. "Yeah I guess. Probably because she's smaller then me,"

"She'd get angry if she heard you say that," I told him.

Will just grinned. "I know,"

I watched him closely. His red hair was messy and he looked tired. Despite how lazy he looked I could feel the power that he emitted. Will wasn't an Alpha but he may as well have been.

"What's Storm's real name?" I asked suddenly.

"Why don't you ask her?" Will responded.

"But you can tell me," I pointed out.

Will smiled. "I can but you should ask her,"

I sighed. "You're impossible,"

Will grinned at me. Axel walked into the room

"What are you two doing?" He asked casually.

"Talking," Will replied.

"About what?"

"Why do you need to know?" Will asked. "It was just a normal conversation,"

"Why are you against telling me then?" Axel asked.

"You don't need to be suspicious of a normal conversation," Will smirked. "Unless you think your mate finds this-" he indicted himself. "...distracting,"

Axel growled angrily. Will laughed. My face went red and my wolf was whining at me. She wanted to comfort Axel and let him know she was his and no one else's. I ignored her though.

"I'm just kidding Axel calm down," Will grinned. "Geez can't you take a joke?"

I couldn't help but agree with Will.

"You haven't joked around since you become Alpha," I complained. "You always used to grin and joke around,"

Axel shrugged.
