Okay today's chapter is awesome :D I wanna spoil it for you guys so bad XD

------------chapter 4.5 starts here------------

Isa's PoV

I continued to look towards Marcus's mom as she looked at... Dad?

I had a million questions I needed the answers to.

What was she doing here? How had she found this tent? Why was she looking at dad?

Her head slowly turned, her gaze falling on me. The rest of her body didn't move an inch as she sized me up.

She didn't know who I was, did she? No. She couldn't have. Marcus had told me he didn't think it was the right time to tell her about me.

To tell her about our date.

-----------------------------------------

10 months before

It was the night of our date. I stood in the bathroom of the mall, perfecting my hair as Marcus stood outside, waiting for me.

Of course we wouldn't actually have our date in the mall. That would be too cliché. We were only here so I could change into something nice for our date. After all, we couldn't have me climbing the wall in a dress, could we?

Despite our date being on the rich side, Marcus had insisted on coming over to my house and escorting me here. Definitely the right move from his side. I felt special already.

Finally, I stood in front of the door, all dressed up, ready to walk out and face him.

Suddenly I felt butterflies in my stomach. Was I ready?

I calmed my nerves and walked out.

Marcus was looking straight at the door. He was dressed in a pair of jeans with a darth Vader shirt and  a black and white jacket.. I almost fainted just looking at him. Had he always looked this good?

He opened his mouth to say something and paused.

He hung his mouth open for about twenty seconds, initially probably to compliment me- only to fail- then trying to cover up the fact that he was speechless  before finally giving up and closing it.

I giggled. My nervousness was all gone. This was the kind of Marcus I was used to.

---------------------------------------

We walked, the light of the moon illuminating our path as we headed away from the center of the city.

Of course a normal couple would want to go to a restaurant, maybe a movie. But we didn't want that. We wanted a romantic night under the stars with nothing distracting us from each other.

"You look really..." Marcus tried to start again, getting paralyzed as I turned to look at him.

I was about to giggle again, but something about the way he looked just stopped it in my throat.

"Great." I thought. "Now it's happening to me too."

"Really.." Marcus continued, still unable to say the final word.

"You look great too." I said.

Marcus shut his mouth, both embarrassed that he was unable to finish his sentence, and satisfied that I had understood what he had meant to say.

------------------------------------------

10 months later

My train of thought was interrupted by a metallic sound. At first, I was annoyed by the fact that the sound had interrupted the recollection of one of the best memories of my life, but that soon turned to fear as I realized what I had heard.

The sound of a knife being unsheathed.

Marcus's mom had a knife in her hand.

------------chapter 4.5 ends here------------

Okay guys I know y'all hate me for not telling about the date yet, but hear my reason before you kill me.

I want to tell the main date from Marcus's point of view (probably in the next update)

Although you have to admit, this chapter wasn't that bad was it? :P
