Chapter 3

His breath was minty and hot as he kissed me so passionantly. I felt his tongue on my lips asking for permission to enter, I smiled and I felt his tongue slip into my mouth and begin wrestling with my tongue. I slipped my arms around his neck and he grabbed me and picked me up and set me on the counter. He put his hands on my thighs and made my dress go up. I grabbed the bottom of his shirt and started pulling it above his head when he reached down and stopped me. "I can't do this." I didn't know what to say... I pulled my dress down and went to jump off the counter. He grabbed my waist and pulled me to him. "It's not that i don't want to, it's just complicated." I ran my hand over his cheek, then his lips, and I leaned down, pulled his face to mine and kissed him. He lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. I pulled his shirt up over his head and threw it on the ground. He left my mouth and pushed my hair out of my face and kissed my cheek then slowly worked down to my neck and then my chest. It took everything in me not to moan. Just then headlights flashed through the windows. "Shit! My parents are home!" He let me down slowly and I reached down and got his shirt and gave it to him. I opened the side door off the kitchen. "You have to go before they see you!" "Okay. I don't want to leave you though." I smiled "I don't want you to leave either but you have too, they will freak out and they will know I was at a party because they will smell the alcohol." "Okay I'm going, I'll text you tomorrow. Take some Advil and drink some water." He leaned down and kissed me and he slipped out the door and into the night. I heard the garage door opening so I ran upstairs took off my dress and threw it into the bathroom and jumped on my bed and threw the covers over me! Just then I heard the door in the kitchen open. I thought "whoa that was close" I pulled the covers over Lexie so they couldn't see she was wasn't wearing her pajamas and I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning and Lexie was still sleeping. I went to my bathroom and brushed my teeth then got in the shower. I washed up then sat on the ground and let the hot water run down on me. I thought back to last night and smiled. Then I wondered if he actually had feelings for me or if it was just in the heat of the moment. I got out of the shower and dried off. I walked into my closet and put on my Lacey bra and matching underwear and put on black shorts and a purple top. When I walked out Lexie was just walking back in holding two cups of coffee. "Oh thank you! I could really use that!" "Me too! I don't even remember how we got home!" "You don't?" "Nope." "Derek Hayes came to the party and grabbed us and drove your car home. He said the cops were coming to break up the party and he knew if our parents found out we would be deader than dead." "Wow. That was really sweet of him." I smiled and said "yeah...it was." I went into the bathroom to style my hair when I heard my phone buzz and then Lexie say "oh my god!" I ran out and saw her holding my phone with her mouth wide open! I knew the text must have been from Derek. I reached out to grab my phone and she pulled it back and said "what DID happen last night between you two?!" She gave me my phone and I read the text "can't wait to see you this afternoon. We need to talk about what happened last night". Oh my god. I felt my face flush with red. I finally gave in and told Lexie everything that had happened. She pretended to wipe a tear away from her eye and she hugged me and said "see i was right! I'm always right!" I laughed and told her "go get your ass in the shower so we can go shopping for dorm stuff!" She smiled and went to the bathroom. I went downstairs and found my mom making breakfast. "Hi honey! You girls slept in later than normal, are you feeling alright?" "Yes mom! We just stayed up late. Is breakfast almost done?" "Yes. Do you want orange juice or milk?" "Orange juice please."My mom is an excellent cook that's the only reason I don't make breakfast for myself. Its been nice with my mom being able to cook, she's taken the last year off from work to be with me. My mom is a doctor. She is a world class Neo Natal Surgeon, for short my mom is a badass when it comes to dealing with babies. There's only like 3 other people in the world as awesome as she is, but everyone says she is the best of them. She kinda hasn't been working as much as normal unless its a really complicated case though because I was in my senior year so she spent a lot of time with me. Once I go to college she will get back to her "normal" schedule. "Did dad already leave?" "Yes about 20 minutes ago, why?" "Oh I was just wondering." My dad can always tell when I have done something I shouldn't have so I planned on avoiding him for the next few days until I figure things out. Lexie walked down the stairs and my mom said "good morning Lex! Oj sound okay?" "Yes thanks aunt Mer!" She called my mom aunt Mer and I called her mom aunt Nay, since they were best friends and we were best friends we were basically family. My mom served us breakfast and we both said thank you. Then I asked "hey mom, Lex and I wanted to go shopping today for dorm stuff, is that okay? And if so can I get some money?" "Sure honey that's fine. I don't know if you know Lexie and I know you don't know addison, but we are all supposed to go to a benefit dinner tonight at 5. We are going earlier to do a "meet n' greet" with the top brass, ew, so you guys can just meet us there." "Okay!" "Thanks for breakfast mom! We're gonna go!" "Okay sweethearts. Be careful. I'll put money in your account Addison!" And with that we walked out to my car and we were on our way. As I was pulling out of the driveway I told Lex "so I'm going to need to be home by 2". "yeah for your date with Mr. Gorgeous?" "It's not a date, it's just a lunch talking about...my dad". "Oooh sounds like a hot date". I smiled and turned the radio up and we both began to sing along. It took about 15 minutes to get to the mall. We went in a bunch of stores and got mostly everything we needed, comforters, pillows, toiletries, and some new clothes! We got super cute, fancy dresses for the benefit dinner tonight. I knew Derek would probably be there so I wanted to look extra nice. We loaded all the stuff we bought in the car and headed home.
