Chapter 5

Bianca was the daughter of one of the lieutenants. Bianca was 3 years older than us, when we were freshmen and she was a senior she made our first year of high school hell. She has the reputation of being a slut. She had a different guy every week in high school. Practically the whole high school threw a party when she graduated (which I don't know how that happened) everyone was just thrilled to not have to deal with her.

Once I snapped out of the daze I was in, I realized that he told me he had to work tonight, he had lied. He clearly didn't think I would be here and for whatever reason he brought Bianca with him. My dad was standing by the entrance still and he shook his hand kissed my moms cheek, it made me sick.

I couldn't believe it. Why did he lie to me? And why did he bring her? Does he just like to have hot make out sessions with chief of polices daughter and just completely blow her off? Ugh! Why was I even jealous? It's not like were together, all we did was make out. Why should I care?

Lexie said "why is he with that skank? And didnt he have to work tonight?"

"I don't know, and yeah that's what he said."

After Derek and Bianca finished talking with my parents they walked towards a table and that's when he saw me. He stopped dead in his tracks and just stared at me.

I know I shouldn't be as upset about it as I am, but I can't help it. He sat Bianca down at a table and she pulled her phone out and started texting or whatever, probably making plans to screw someone later.

He started to walk towards Lexie and I so I turned and bolted to the bathroom, I knew Lexie would be right on my heels. I burst through the door and Lexie was sure enough right behind me.

Lexie yelled "what the hell?! Why was he going to co..." Just then the door opened and Bianca walked in. She said "Oh look, it's thing one and thing too."

Lexie replied "Oh look it's Bianca Bitch, oops I mean Taye." Bianca gave a smirk and said "did you guys see who my date was? He's such a hot piece of ass, he'll be mine in no time."

I felt sick to my stomach. Lexie said "just make sure you warn him of all the diseases he'll catch." Bianca smiled and said "see ya later bitches." And she walked out the door.

Lexie turned to me "I hate that bitch!" I was so angry I couldn't see straight. Bianca saying "he'll be mine in no time" really pissed me off. I didn't want him to be anyone's but mine, especially not Bianca's.

I said "whatever, it's not like were together, all we did was make out. It's not my place to be pissed off about it."

Lexie said "The hell it is! You have a right to confront him, you need to confront him!"

"Lexie..."

"Addison, I mean it. Talk to him. You deserve an answer."

Lexie was right, I did deserve an answer. I just wasn't sure I wanted to hear it...

I checked my makeup and hair and we walked out, back into the room. We we went straight to our table, it was the second table back from the front and right in the middle. The table Derek was sitting at was to the right of us and a little behind. But because they were round tables and where I was sitting, I was left staring right at him. I tried to look anywhere but at him but I found that hard to do, I just kept staring at him and him at me.

My phone buzzed in my purse so I slyly took it out, turned down the brightness since it was dark in the room because they were playing some video, and read the text. It was from Derek "Please let me explain, I owe it to you." I didn't know what to say back, I tapped Lexie's leg and handed my phone to her, she whispered "Meet

him." and handed it back. I wasn't sure what to say back to sat there and just stared at him. He sent another one "meet me outside by the fountain when this video is over, go out the side doors and go left."

I didn't answer I just put my phone away, I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I wanted to talk to him, but I wasn't sure that I wanted the answer he was going to give.
