Chapter 7 -Runaways and Resets?

Me and Rose packed our bags for the night. She's still a little scared about leaving, but I insist we do. It's like something in my mind is urging me to leave. And that's what i'll do.

The moon is full outside our window. Today, Sans was looking at us funny, like he knew something was up. I haven't talked to that strange person again. I think they gave up on me.

I grab my bag and silently open the door. Rose looks down the halls to see if any monsters were awake. Thankfully, there wasn't. Not all monsters like us here. why wouldn't they?

I signal for us to keep moving and go up the hall. One time, when i was walking i saw an exit. It was by where Papyrus was a few days ago. We heard voices coming down our way and hid. I had to be extra careful when Sans is near.

Two monster children run down the hall. It was kinda cute. Then I am signaled by Rose and we move to the exit. I put my hand on the handle. I am stopped by a bone hitting the wall.

"who said you could escape, doll?" Sans stands behind us with one of his eye sockets engulfed in yellow flames. Another bone attack is flying my way and I dodge it.

'now is the time, Y/N! you need to protect you and Rose.' I dash out the door with Rose and run. I run as fast as my legs can go, dragging Rose with me.

We get to an empty alley way. "Are you okay?" I ask her. She nods. Yelling of Sans and his blasters are being fired. I start running again.

We're trapped in a dead end and Sans is in front of me. Sans summons a "Gaster blaster" as Papyrus says.

Goodbye Rose, Papyrus, Undyne, Frisk, Alphys, Toriel, Everyone... I close my eyes and wait for the impact but it's blocked by a vine. A flower shows up and puts on the most sadistic smile i have ever seen.

"Flowey..." Sans mumbles. The same figure i saw in my room shows up too. "Even Chara.. this will be fun" Sans growls and summons bones.

Chara grabs our hands and bring us to a mountain. Mt. Ebott I think. Me and my Family would go here all the time. "we have to go to the ruins.." Chara whispers. They bring us to a huge hole.

"your going to have to jump." They say. WHAT?! that is a death waiting to happen. I sigh deeply and grab Roses hand, getting ready to jump. The last thing I heard was Sans yelling my name.

My body ached all over. That was a really long and painful fall. I groan and try to get up but stumble back down again. Why does it hurt so much? Looking at my surroundings, i'm laying on a bed of flowers.

I can't remember why i'm here exactly. A large, purple door is seen in the distance. I limp over to the door and open it. A flower is smiling at me.

Where am I? Questions fill my mind. I am really confused right now.

I was interrupted in thought by the Flower speaking "Howdy! I'm Flowey. Flowey the Flower!" His name seems familiar but I can't remember how I know. "hmmm... Your new to the Underground, aren'tcha? Golley, you must be so confused."

"Someone ought to teach you how things work around here! I guess little old me will have to do." I felt a bad feeling wash over me. "Ready? here we go!"

A red heart appears in front of me. "See that heart? That is your soul. The very culmination of your being." I move around and it moves in sync with me.

"Your soul starts off weak, but can grow stronger if you gain a lot of LV. What's LV stand for? Why, LOVE of coarse!" Doesn't LV usually stand for level in games? This is really strange..

"You want some love, don't you?" Not really. "Don't worry, I'll share some with you!" he winks. A bunch of bullet looking things are summoned behind him."Down here, LOVE is shared through....little white.. "friendliness pellets"... Are you ready? Move around! Get as many as you can!"

The pellets come in my direction and i dodge them, feeling unsure to trust him."What are you doing? RUN. INTO. THE. BULLETS. um I mean 'friendliness pellets'" he launches them again and I dodge them.

His face turns sadistic and it flashes through my mind. "YOU IDIOT...In this world, It's killed or BE killed. Why would ANYONE pass up an opportunity like this?!" A chill runs up my spine and I step back.

Bullets surround me and Flowey just stands there amused "Die." they start to close in on me. I squint my eyes shut and wait for the impact... But suddenly a flame Is fired at Flowey and a Goat Woman is seen.

She smiles at me. Another memory flashes blankly in my mind. I try to remember a name, But nothing comes out. For some reason, I know her.

The journey that i'm about to face is going to be a long one alright.
