Crossfire -Gaster!Sans x Reader

Chapter 28

Shadow takes a sip of milk and laughs uncontrollably with Sans. Grillby gives them a glance but then continues to serve the other customers.

Gaster Sans cracks a joke, as Shadow bangs on the table, grabbing people's attention.

"Sans, Shadow. Please, if you going to stay, then don't cause such a ruckess." Grillby informed them, getting quite annoyed.

"Okay *Hiccup* Grillbz." Sans answered, elbowing Shadow to get the message. Shadow stopped staring at the wall and nodded, letting out a giggle.

'They are like children....' Grillby thought, rolling his eyes.

"Shadow, do you like Midnight?" Sans asked. Shadow had a light blush on his face as he shook his head.

"N-No!"

"Awwww, Shadow has a crush on Mid-" Shadow covered his mouth and and hushed him, not wanting people to hear.

"Cmon! Just admit it!" Sans nudged him playfully. Shadow blushed and motioned Grillby to get him another drink.

Rose

"So.. what would you like to do?" I asked, feeling bored.

"Hm? I couldn't hear you because I was thinking of world domination."

"Is that really what you want? There has to be more to just wanting to dominate humans."

"I don't have to tell you anything!" Chara said.

"Okay." I stare at a rose off in the distance. I get up and walk to it slowly.

'The color is so unusual..'

"What is?" Chara walks over, noticing the grey Rose.

"Weird.." I mutter.

Chara run off after a shadow in the distance.

"Wait! Chara! Where are you going!?"

Chara ignores my question and keeps running, starting to pick up the pace.

I sigh and chase after them, hearing my heart beat fast. My legs feel wobbly, but i need to keep going..

"Chara!"

They stop, and turn to look at me, tears welling up in their eyes.

"He's gone! Asriel is gone and I can't do anything about it!"

"Asriel..?"

"Yes! He's gone...! He's gone! He's gone!" Chara sobs.

I can't move, I felt speechless.

'Should I comfort them?'

"I understand if your scared, everyone is scared of me.."

"I... I don't think your scary, just misunderstood."

I can't find the right words to say. How do I approach them?

"If it makes you feel better, I lost someone dear to me.." I said.

"Me and Asriel.. he was family to me.. him and Mom, Dad.. they were the only ones to accept me..."

"How exactly did you fall down here?"

They sighed and took a deep breath,"I wasn't liked in my village, so I climbed Mt Ebott. Then, I found Asriel.. He and his family welcomed me with open arms and took me in."

I was a bit shocked that they could have such a soft spot.

I went over to Chara and hugged them.

'What just happened?'

Shadow

Sans and I were headed out of Grillbyz and heard rustling through the woods. My Ears perked up as I let out a hiss.

"You okay?" Sans asked, stopping to look at me.

"Yeah, just fine." I brushed off the feeling of someone watching us and headed to Hotland.

"See ya Shadow." Sans waved, blowing out some smoke.

"See you later G." I said as we parted ways.

As I walked through waterfall, I felt as If someone was watching me.

"That's because you ARE."

hello! I'm sorry I didn't update sooner, my birthday is tomorrow and I just had to update! I also got a new phone, and it's bigger so I can work with Wattpad and not make any errors!~ (I hated that on my old phone, )
