Chapter 13- Waterfall

Sans finally came home after a few hours of watching TV with Papyrus. "Y/N!" Sans yells from the kitchen. I walk casually into the kitchen and sit at the table. 

"Yes?" I reply. Sans is sitting across from me, disobeying Papyrus' rules by smoking in the house.

"Did Rose fall down with you when you came to the Underground?" He asks. I shake my head no and start to get worried. "She must have fallen with you. Did I ever tell you how we found out about Rose?" Sans blows some smoke from his mouth.

"No. All I knew was that she was tortured by Monsters." I state. I wonder where she went.. Maybe she's in another timeline?

"When Alphys found a portal in the old royal scientist's lab, It lit up blue. Then Rose came out, all by herself. We think she was from another dimension." Sans explains. There are other dimensions? This doesn't make any sense.

"Also, Tomorrow you need to set out to waterfall and befriend Undyne. Lemme tell you this, It won't be easy. Even gaining everyone's trust, freeing the monsters, or anything else won't be easy." Well I knew that by now. 

"You should probably get to sleep." Sans says. I do feel really sleepy. Wait, I just realized something..

"How come you haven't called me "dove" or "doll" like you usually do?" hit face lights up a tint of yellow. Is he blushing?...

"Goodnight, Y/N" Sans quickly leaves the room. I do the same and start to get ready for bed. Trying to befriend Undyne won't be too hard, right? 

                     ~The next Morning~

I awake from my sleep and see Papyrus and Sans already in the kitchen. "GOOD MORNING HUMAN! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL MISS YOU DEARLY" He hugs me and I return the hug. Sans ignores me for some reason. Did I do something wrong..?

I push that thought away and walk out the door, feeling the cold breeze against my skin, my h/c hair blowing in the wind. I know I can do this.

           ~Third Person's POV~ (cause why not? :3) 

Y/N walked through the snow once again, saying her last goodbyes to Snowdin. After awhile, she finally reached waterfall. They don't call it that for nothing. If she wanted to get out of here alive, she would have to work really hard not to die.

She asked herself, Can I really do this? If she's determined enough, then anything's possible. 

          ~Timeskip~

Y/N finally got to waterfall. She saw some monsters but they just ignored her presence. She had to admit, Waterfall was a very beautiful place, especially with all the echo flowers.

Yesterday, Sans and Y/N talked about waterfall. The echo flowers, the scenery,etc. It was kinda good that Sans worked at a booth in waterfall.

To be honest, Y/N doesn't really know how strong and aggressive Undyne is.. but she hopes it's not too bad. 

"Wow..." Y/N admired the huge room of echo flowers. they were glowing a neon blue, emitting light in the room. 

"Wow....." The echo flowers repeated. She heard footsteps. It sounded like metal, and they were really heavy. Before Y/N knew what was going on, a bright blue spear was thrown in front of her, leaving a small scratch across the cheek. 'Undnye found me!' she thought. 

Y/N panicked and ran as fast as her legs could go, not looking back. When she knew that Undyne wasn't chasing her anymore, she stopped. Beads of sweat ran down her cheek, stinging her cut. 

"I almost died!" She yelled to herself, but then covered her mouth.

                 ~Y/N 's POV~

I am so happy I didn't get hurt any worse.. I found myself on a bridge, connected to little islands around the apparently neon blue water. The were some echo flowers too. I went over to them, and heard conversation between monsters.

Before I got in this mess, someone by the name of monster Kid came here and followed me. He wouldn't stop talking about how cool Undyne is. She must be really popular.. Otherwise than that, he was pretty sweet. 

I am also so glad that before I came here, Undnye didn't spot me when her and Papyrus were training. How am I supposed to get past her?!  

"You can do this Y/N.." Another voice was heard. I turned around but no one was there. The echo flowers kept repeating those words over and over again.

     "You can do this Y/N..."
