Chapter 19 -Alphys' Lab

"What?" I turn to look at him.

"You need to come to Alphys' lab with me, Now" He grabs my arm and tries to pull me away. I yank it back and his grip gets tighter.

"Why do I have to come with you?" I cross my arms.

"Because, we found Rose." Those last few words left me shocked. They found Rose?!

"what do you mean, 'We found Rose'?" I ask, tilting my head to the side.

"She was seen through the portal, But then she suddenly disappeared back into it." He explains, Still smoking his cigarette.

"then we need to go!" I grab his skeletal hand and drag him down through waterfall.

~Timeskip~

Me and Sans made it to Undyne. She stands there with her spear in hand.

"Human! Do you wish to pass- Sans!? And the Human!?" She jumps off of her mountain and walks up to us. "I knew it! You betrayed us! Everyone!" She threw a spear at him and almost hit him.

"Undyne...... Don't ever do that." Sans lifts Undyne. "I didn't betray anyone, This human you see, she is going to set us free, without dying. And I am going to make sure she is alive, Got it?" Black clouds surround Sans. That looks like me in the morning when I don't get enough sleep.... (does anyone remember that chapter?)

"You seriously want to protect this human?! She's puny and weak!" She points to me.

"I am not puny, nor weak, am strong and determined! I want to help monsters escape... I really do..... But there is someone that really needs me on the other side of this bridge... If you don't trust me enough, Than go ahead and come with us to see that i'm not a threat." She stays quiet for a moment.

"If I see you hurt anyone. I will kill you and take your soul.." She warns. I nod my head and walk across the bridge. Their is a sign that reads "Welcome to Hotland!".

When we enter, There is a empty stand, With no one in it. (Sans :/) We cross the bridge and I can hear panting behind us. Undyne's armor is getting hard to move around in because of the heat. There is a little water station, so I go over, Get some water in a cup, and pour it on Undyne.

She gets back up and doesn't even say "thank you", she just passes in front of me and Sans. (rude much?)

Me, Sans, And Undyne make it to Alphys' lab. The last time we met, I didn't really get to know a lot about her. Piles of paper are sprawled around a desk, A huge computer screen which seems to be a camera, And dog food is propped up against a wall.

Alphys rushes in "H-hello. U-U-Undyne, S-sans, Y/N...." She glances over to a door on her right. "Human!" A wolf runs out. It has gray fur with blue eyes. It kinda reminds me of that girl I saw earlier.

"M-Midnight! Go b-back in your r-room!" Alphys Says to her but she ignores her. Midnight prances over to me.

"Have I seen you before? Ohhhh wait, Your that Human I saw in Waterfall!" She turns into a human and it's the girl I saw before! "My name's Midnight, Nice to meet ya!' She smiles.

"Y/N, Why did you leave me back-- What are you doing here!?" Shadow walks into Alphys' lab. midnight growls.

"I live here you baka!" (for those who don't know what baka means, It means idiot in Japanese :33.) She yells at Shadow. He looks dumbfounded at what she said.

"A-anyways.. Y/N.. p-please follow me while t-the others deal with their s-situations.." Alphys walks into a hallway and I follow her. "W-well... If Sans hasn't t-told you this but.. We saw Rose in a w-whole other dimension... And we d-don't know how to help her yet." Alphys says.

"About Rose, how did you guys actually find her, Because Sans told me some of the story, But I think there is stuff he forgot to mention. " Alphys inhales a deep breath and turns to me.

"Rose was an experiment of Gaster's. He created her out of one of the human souls we had. Something went bad and she was put into a cell deep in the lab. Rose grew up with Gaster and, Was given some of his soul to live. She was aloud to roam one day and got sucked into his portal. It was no use looking for her because she could have been dead for all we know. But she still is alive, Just stuck in different dimensions." She's an experiment? And who's Gaster..?

"Who is Gaster..?" I ask.

"Gaster was the old scientist before me, he was very nice. After Rose disappeared, He was gone too" I never knew about Gaster. I wonder why no one told me about him.

"SANS!" Papyrus yells. I turn my head to the door and go out to the main room of the lab. Sans and Shadow are trying to hold in laughter while Undyne and Papyrus glare at them.

"What is going on in here?" I put my hands on my hips.

"SANS IS MAKING PUNS AGAIN!" Papyrus complains. An idea popped in my mind.

"Hey papyrus." I get his attention.

"YES?"

"I guess you have a..... Bone to pick with him." I giggle and Papyrus groans.

"NOT YOU TOO....!"

~In the lab with Alphys and Midnight~

-Midnight's POV-

"Do you t-think s-she's the one to set us f-free..?" Alphys whispers to me. Will she be the human to save us all?

"Yea! She is very nice to the monsters! she isn't like the other souls, there is something about her.." My tail wags back and fourth.

*Maybe, Just Maybe, She is the one to set us Free.
