Chapter 11 - Missing You

Mal's POV
Its been 3 days since Ben recovered me and Melanie took over. I was starting to seriously wonder if Evie believed in me and if she still loved me. I know she doesn't really like Melanie the way she likes me I wish I could help her.
'Hey Mel, do you think we could go see Evie?' I asked Melanie and she was silent for a little.
'Okay Mal.. I guess so.. Let me convince Ben to let me leave.' she said and I smiled.
"Ben I am going to my room, okay?" she said and I heard Ben mumble something. I could only hear what Melanie said. But she said we were going to find Evie so i believed her. Also I knew how to take over for a little.

Evie's POV
I sat in my room reading a book while FG research how to break Ben's spell on Mal. I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in!" I said and Melanie walked in. Great. "What?" I asked looking back down at my book. A bright flash of light startled me and Mal was standing there instead of Melanie. I started to cry.
"Hey Evie please don't cry.." Mal came over and hugged me.
"I thought you were gone!" I said screaming a little and Mal shook her head.
"Melanie is still here, but I took over for a little. Unfortunately its not permanent, I really do love you Evie and I hope yo-" I cut her off by putting up a hand.
"Mal if you seriously thought I wasn't trying to get you back your very wrong." I paused and she sat next to me. "I love you to Mal, and Fairy Godmother agreed to help me get you back. Losing you is something I can't deal with." I started to cry. Mal grabbed my face in her hands and whipped my tears away.
"Evie, I promise I will try to take over at least once a day.. I can't stand seeing you like this." she said and kissed me. "I have to go now.. Mel will be cooperating or I won't cooperate with her. Bye Evie." she said and I smiled with tears in my eyes.
"Bye.." I said and with another bright flash Melanie was back.
"I promise Evie I will let you be with Mal every day.. Just please.. Try and be my friend." she said and I nodded.
"Deal."
