Chapter 18 - Shattered

Mal's POV
I hears a huge thud come from the bathroom and I ran over to the door. I knocked frantically.
"Evie?" I shouted.. No answer. I busted the door open and saw Evie laying on her back, blood seeped into the carpet below her. I felt myself get really sick and ran out of the bathroom. I immediately called Jane and explained everything, her and her mother appeared instantly. I burst into tears and couldn't stop crying. Jane pulled ne into a hug and FG looked into the bathroom. We all appeared in a hospital with a swoosh of her wand. They saw Evie and quickly rushed her back to the emergency room. Me and Jane had to stay in the waiting room. I was still huggung Jane and crying my eyes out.
"Mal, its okay.. I know my mom will do her best to help." Jane said and I nodded. Jay and Carlos ran in having heard the news. They both came over and hugged me.
"Hey Mal... Relax, these doctors know what they are doing." Carlos said and put an arm around me. I rested my head on his shoulder and fell asleep.

Evie's POV
I woke up in a hospital bed, I was aching all over but I needed to see Mal. My breathing got really heavy what if they didn't let her come?!
"Evie relax." I heard an unfamiliar voice say, then I recognized it. Rapunzel. My breathing slowed down.
"Is Mal here?" I asked and she nodded. Then hit a button. Mal came into the door moments later. Her eyes were red, and her hair was a mess.
"Thank god your okay!" she said with tears in her eyes. She pulled a chair up next to the bed and sat down. I grabbed her hand.
"Of course.. Its you I'm worried about." I said and looked back at her eyes, they were still bloodshot.
"Mal how long was I out?" I asked and she frowned.
"One week.. I didn't sleep at all. I couldn't sleep. If I was asleep and you woke up and I wa-" she started to ramble I rolled my eyes and finally just kissed her. She didn't pull away, so I did.
"Mal you need to get some sleep." I said and she frowned, then got up and went to leave. "I promise, I'll be back tomorrow." I said and she left.
