Chapter 21 - Nightmare

Ben's POV
I fell to my knees crying. This couldn't be happening. I need help, the only person I could think of was Mal.. She hated me though, would she really help me? I ran to her room and saw he sitting outside crying.

A bit earlier in the girls room...

Evie's POV
Ben had called me and told me his father was wounded pretty bad from a car accident.. I dont know why he called me, but he did. Mal reacted pretty bad, but she looks like she is hurting too.. I knew this wouldn't last between me and her.. I couldn't keep her from loving Ben, but I did enjoy dating her while I could.
"Mal.. I-I can't date you anymore..." I said barely holding back tears. Mal was crying, she ran over to me.
"Evie, why?! Why can't you?" she asked, I was crying too.
"Mal you know you still love Ben, I cant date you until you one hundred percent sure who you love." I walked over to the door.
"Please E.." she said but I opened the door.
"Sorry, Mal..." I left shutting the door behind me.

Mal's POV
I knew this was coming.. Evie broke up with me, but she wasn't wrong I still had feelings for Ben I didn't know how to fix this. The only way I knew was magic. I ran outside slid down the door and started to cry. I heard someone coming and saw it was Ben. He sat down next to me, but I shifted away.
"Mal whats wrong?" he asked but I ignored him. "Mal please talk to me." I rolled my eyes.
"What, Ben?" I said coldly. He looked hurt.
"Well, I know you heard about my father, but I heard about you and Evie.. Are you alright?" he asked. My heart dropped.
"Ben does it look like I'm okay?" I asked in a bitter tone. He frowned.
"Mal I am just trying to help you.. Maybe your love for me wasn't what made Evie break up with you, maybe it was your cold heart." he said and I started to cry again. Ben stood up and walked away. I went to get up, but I fell back down, and hit my head on the wall... Next thing I knew..
