Evie's POV
I woke up and I am still in the hospital. Its been a week now, Mal has visited every chance she got. They say today I am cleared to go back to the dorm, but I need to take it easy. Mal walked into my room.
"Hey, how you feeling?" she asked and walked over to the bed.
"Like I need a shower." I said and she laughed. Then the doctor came in and told me I could leave whenever.
"Be careful though, you have 47 stitches in your back and they need to be taken care of. You will need to come back in a month to have them removed." he said and I nodded.
"Okay I will." I said getting out of bed. My legs hurt when I tried to stand, Mal caught me from falling.
"Careful..." She said nervously and I rolled my eyes.
"Mal I'm fine." I said trying to walk again but couldn't.
"I'll get a wheelchair.." Mal said and quickly ran off. She came back minutes later with a wheelchair. Mal helpped me get up and put me in the chair.

Mal's POV
I felt bad for Evie, she couldn't do anything on her own without help. I broughtvher back to the dorm and helpped her into bed. She went to sit up but fell over and started to cry.
"I can't do this Mal!" was all she was screaming. I walked over to her bed and sat down next to her.
"Evie, I know this is gonna be tough, but I promise you I will be here the whole time." I said playing with her hair. Still crying she pulled me into a hug.
"I love you Mal.." She said and I squeezed her tighter. Then there was a knock on the door, I walked over to answer. Ben was standing there and I slammed the door in his face. Evie laughed a little.
"Harsh much?" Ben said opening the door.
"Ben get out." I said protecting Evie. "You are not allowed near her." I said. Ben got up close to my face and tried to push me out of the way. I stood my ground.
"Ben leave. Now." I said and Evie grabbed my hand.
"Mal its alright." she said and I loosened up a little. Ben pushed me out of the way, but I was still holding her hand.
"Hello Benjamin." Evie said and stared coldly at him. He flinched at his name.
"Hi Evie... I am really sorry about what happened.. Truely I am.." he said and Evie rolled her eyes.
"Sorry? Sorry?! Ben, sorry doesn't fix 47 stitches, or bruises in places there shouldn't be bruises. You put me through a week of misery and tourcher Ben! I can't even stand up on my own! I am terrified of my own shadow! Sorry doesn't fix anything, Ben.. So stay away from me. Got it?" Evie said, My mouth was hanging wide open and Ben qas stairing at her with disbelief. Evie tured to face me and crossed her arms.
"Get out Ben." she said and he turned and left. Evie burst into tears and I ran over and hugged her.
