Chapter 37 - One Good Day

Mal's POV
I wome up and looked over at rhe clock. It was now 10 AM. I found my arms were still wrapped tightly around Evie, but she was still asleep. She tried to shift away, but I didn't let her, she would have fallen off the bed. Evie opened her eyes slowly.
"Morning, again.. What time is it?" she asked her eyes still partially closed. I laughed a little and she wrapped her arms around my neck.
"Its 10." I said and Evie shot up.
"What?! Mal I have a science exam in school! She said and gotvout of bed to get ready. I litterly tackled.
"Evie, your not going to school today. I promised you a day of just us, so this is the only way we will get no interruptions, I will make your teachers allow you to retake any exams." I said and she looked at me. Then hugged me.
"Okay." she said and sat down. I sat down next to her.
"Mal.. Why do you love me.. I have probably asked this before, and I know you asked me before. But I just want to know." Evie said and looked at me. I gave her a soft smile.
"Well, your one of my good friends Evie, I would do anything for you. I would literally risk my life for you. I couldn't think of anyone more perfect to be in love with then you. You are always there for me, and I can count on that. I will always be there for you and never leave you. Also your not like other people E, I have known you my entire life. I wouldn't, no, couldn't ask for a better life long partner then you." I said and she looked at me with compassion in her eyes.

Evie's POV
I didn't know what to say. Mal was the most kind person I knew, I always wanted to be with her. No matter what I felt like somehow we will always be with eachother. I opened my mouth to try to speak, but I couldn't instead I leaned forward and kissed Mal. We were both startled by a knock on the door.
"Its Jane." she said in a soft quite voice. I groaned and rolled my eyes. Mal laughed a little.
"Come in." she said and Jane opened the door. Mal went to turn around but I kissed her cheek before she did, she was now bright red. Jane was blushing a little too.
"I'm sorry did I inturpt something?" she asked and Mal shook her head.
"No not really, whats up?" she asked and Jane held out a paper.
"Will you help me with my science project?" she aske dand I frowned a little. Mal went to say something then looked back at me.
"Sorry Jane, but me and Evie are a bit busy." she said and Jane nodded.
"Okay thanks anyway!" she said and walked out. Mal turned to face me again and scooted next to me. I rested my head on her shoulder and she turned on a movie.
"This is nice." I said grabbing her hand and intertwining my finhers with hers. She smiled as I looked up at her.
"I couldn't think of anything better, then being here with you." she said and kissed me. Ibkissed her back and we continued to watch the movie. I smiled when Mal scooted closer to me and I started to nod off to sleep.
