Song: Little Game // Benny
Nessa's POV
I sat staring at the flames, leaning against the drop ship. All the kids were lined up in front of the fire, getting sticks of panther meat from Murphy and his goons in exchange for them taking off their wristbands. I was amazed at the lengths these assholes would go to in order to make these kids take off their wristbands. Urging them to volunteer was one thing - but denying them food? Making them choose between their families believing they were still alive and starvation? That was low even for them. I'd rather eat nuts and berries for the rest of my life than give Bellamy the satisfaction of taking off my wristband. My stomach let out a huge growl. Well maybe not the entire rest of my life...
A lot had happened since Bellamy and I had talked in the woods. After we had heard Clarke cry out, we raced over to where she and Finn were. They had found fresh blood. A lot of it. As well as Jasper's signature goggles. Eventually we also found Jasper. He was alive, but barely - tied to a tree and covered in blood, with a poultice over the wound in his chest. Clarke had immediately raced to him but almost fell into a pit filled with sharpened wooden stakes. Believe it or not, Bellamy had been the one to save her. But I knew the truth. I saw the hesitation in his face - he seriously had considered letting her fall to her death. But he didn't, and I had to give him some credit for that. When we tried to get Jasper down from the tree a huge panther attacked us. Wells somehow had gotten a hold of Bellamy's gun and used it to bring the animal down. Not wanting to waste fresh meat, Bellamy and Murphy decided to carry it back to camp for food, while the rest of us took turns supporting Jasper.
And now they were only giving food to people who betrayed the Ark. Who made those in charge think that we were dying, that it wasn't safe to follow, that they had to stay and die in space instead when their oxygen ran out. My stomach let out another rumble and I saw Bellamy smile smugly at a small boy who had just traded his connection to his family for a piece of meat. That was it, I couldn't stand it anymore. Pushing myself off the drop ship wall, I strode confidently over to where the food was and grabbed a stick of meat.
"Whoa, hey, wait wait wait, sweetheart. You think you play by different rules?" Murphy smirked, grabbing my arm. I ripped my arm free of his grasp and leaned in to his face. I smiled. "I thought there were no rules," I said innocently. Then I turned and walked away, making eye contact with Bellamy as I did so. I gave him a wink as I bit into the deliciously warm meat. The rest of the camp stood there in awed silence as they saw me walk away, and I saw Finn rush in and grab two more sticks for him and Clarke. Another boy tried to follow our lead but Bellamy stopped him and punched him in the face. He glared after Finn, Clarke, and I as we went to eat our meal in piece. I gave him one last wave.
Your move, Blake.

Bellamy's POV
God damn her. Rage coursed through me as I watched Nessa wink and saunter away. I understood that she hated me, but did she have to deliberately undermine my leadership at every chance she had? Now I had to worry about her and Clarke stirring up trouble among the hundred. Damn her. It didn't help that they were often right, and I knew it. I watched the three of them walk away smugly, thinking they were so smart. I did have to grudgingly admit, Nessa's comeback to Murphy was pretty clever. And a little bad ass. I shook my head and walked over to Murphy once everyone who had decided to take their wristbands off had gotten food.
"Have you seen Atom?" I asked gruffly. "Or Octavia?" I had just realized neither of them had come to claim food.
"No, haven't seen them. Hey, can I kill that red-haired bitch yet she's really starting to piss me off," Murphy snarled, his eyes on Nessa where she sat with Finn and Clarke. I was a little taken aback by the hostility in Murphy's voice. I knew he was a little volatile, but I was actually starting to worry he had a few screws loose. I definitely would have to keep a closer eye on him in the future.
"No, Murphy, you can't. We can't just go around killing each other," I cautioned.
"What happened to 'whatever the hell we want'," he responded scathingly. "Or was that just more bullshit to get people to do what you wanted."
"Hey, watch it. I said no, and that's final," I barked. Murphy rolled his eyes and stalked away, muttering under his breath. Yes, I definitely would have to keep an eye on him from now on. But now I was focused on finding Atom and O. I was starting to get a little worried that I hadn't seen them yet. And Atom and I needed to take the watch for tonight. I began to walk into the woods until I saw a faint blue glow in the distance. Following it, I came upon a clearing filled with luminescent blue butterflies. As beautiful as the scene was, I was a little distracted by the sight of Atom and Octavia kissing in the middle of it. I ground my teeth as I felt a flash of rage. I specifically told him to not let anyone touch her. That included him.
This night just kept getting fucking better and better.
