I raise an eyebrow as Jesse glares at Jeremiah. "So, are either of you going to explain who the fuck this guy is?" she practically growls. "I'm, uh, Jeremiah.." he stutters. "Caden, this is my friend, Jeremiah. Today is his first day and I was trying to show him to his class when that small incident happened out in the hallway." I explain quietly. "Yeah, what was up with that?" Jeremiah asks quietly, glancing at me. Jesse cuts me off as I open my mouth to explain. "Nothing." she snarled at him. "Okay." Jeremiah replied quietly, holding his hands up in surrender. "Okay, so here's the deal. You are going to keep your mouth shut about that little incident that you witnessed out there. If anybody is to ask you about it, you were not there. Get it, got it, good." Jesse explains, slowly and carefully as if Jeremiah was a little boy. "Uh, okay.." he nods. "Addison, lets go. We have.. Business.. to take care of." Jesse tells me, turning on her heel and walking out. "I'll text you later. Do you have a pen?" I ask Jeremiah. He nods and pulls a pen out of his bag and hands it to me. I scribble my number down on the soft flesh of his palm, give him his pen back, then run out of the room after Jesse, not bothering to say goodbye to Jeremiah. "What business do we have to take care of?" I ask Jesse when I catch up to her, panting from running. "Killing Kelly." she replies nonchalantly. "Oh?" I ask, cocking my eyebrow. She nods briskly and grabs one of her knives from her sheath, hiding it up her sleeve. "You remembered to grab your gun, right?" she asks, glancing sideways at me. I nod, lifting my shirt up slightly to show the handle of the pistol sticking out of my waistband. She nods, acknowledging it. I catch a glimpse of long, swishy, black hair round a corner up ahead and I point to it, signaling that was her. "Kelly, wait up!" I shout. I see her head peek back around the corner. "Oh hey Addison, Caden." she smiles. "What's up?" I ask, trying to play it cool and not let her onto what is about to happen. "Not much, Morrison was pissing me off so I walked out and I've just been wandering. How about you two?" she asks, raising her eyebrow when we reach her. "Just wandering the halls, skipping class." I smile. 'I'm so sorry, Kelly..' I say to myself as Jesse slowly removes the knife from her sleeve. I glance sideways at her and she mouths "Distract her." I nod slightly and turn my eyesight back on Kelly. "Wanna wander the halls together?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. She nods, "That sounds like fun. Won't be as boring th- AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" she scream as Jesse plunges the knife into her side repeatedly, then in the chest, directly over her heart. When she falls to the floor, its almost as if its in slow motion. "I trusted you guys.. Why me..?" she asks quietly and falls silent as the last signs of life drain from her eyes. Jesse and I stand silent for a moment. After a pause Jesse turns to me. "Come on, we need to get her out of here before anyone sees." she instructs quietly. I nod. "We'll meet you guys out back." I hear Alex's voice in my ear. "Okay." Jesse replies, quieter than she normally is after a kill.   I grab Kelly's legs and Jesse grabs her arms. "You okay?" I ask as we carry her towards the exit. She ignores me, chewing on her bottom lip, lost in thought. "We'll take her from her, you guys go clean up." Alex instructs, handing Jesse and I each a large towel saturated in dried blood. Zack and Alex place Kelly's body in a black body bag and carry it out to the van as Jesse and I start back towards where Jesse killed Kelly. "Jesse, seriously, what is wrong?" I ask, the worriedness in my voice showing through. "Nothing, let's just hurry and go clean up the blood before people see it and get suspicious." Jesse says. I nod and we walk the rest of the way in silence. When we reach the scene of the crime, we both drop to our knees and start sopping up blood with the towels. Once all the traces of blood are gone, we stand up and walk slowly to the exit, taking our time and not really caring about whether or not we get caught anymore. We reach the back doors and climb into the van in silence, ignoring the boys' stares and riding all the way home in complete and utter silence, except for the low rumble of the vans engine.
