Natasha was frantic.

No, she was more than frantic, she was having a major panic attack.

Ever since the red-headed spy had agreed to the billionaire's - much to her dismay - idea of a huge fairytale like wedding with everyone, everyone attending, Natasha had been worrying and panicking about herself going down the aisle.

It was meant to be the best moment of her life; getting married to the love of her life but, her anxiety had kicked in and she had multiple thoughts swirling in her mind.

What if Steve leaves the altar? What if he doesn't say 'I do'? What if he isn't even here?

The former assassin knew that he wouldn't leave her. He loves her. He really, really loves her. So why in the world would he leave her all alone during her special day?

It was 12pm. Three hours before the ceremony begins. And Natasha could already feel the wedding starting to fall apart.

Her bridesmaids; Wanda, Jane, Darcy, Pepper and Betty were all getting ready alongside her Maid of Honor, Bobbi.

In two hours time, they were to leave the tower, straight to the beach house where the Captain and the Widow are to be wed. And so far, the girls haven't even moved one single bit.

Natasha - being scared about this whole thing - hid herself in the training room. The girls were searching everywhere for her, and even asked Friday where the assassin was hidden. Friday told them it was 'confidential' and could not tell them.

"Dammit, Natasha." Bobbi muttered under her breathe, in search for her best friend.

Although Pepper had already checked the training room multiple times, Bobbi felt as if Natasha was there all along. And in fact, she was right.

The Mockingbird herself found the Black Widow all curled up in a dark corner, sobbing.

"Go away." Natasha stifled a cry.

"Nat,"

"I said, leave.me.alone!" Natasha shouted across the room at her.

Bobbi frowned and walked closer, but carefully to her.

"Bobbi, oh my god, I told you to leave."

"Nat, I'm not gonna leave my best friend crying alone in the most safest place that she knows on her wedding day." Bobbi slightly chuckled and placed an arm around her neck.

Natasha wiped her tears away from her eyes as best as she could.

"Now tell me, why are you here? Your man is waiting for you, you know?" Bobbi smiled.

Natasha looked her straight in the eye.

"That's what I'm afraid of, Bobbi. My man waiting, realizing he made a mistake and leaving me."

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent looked taken aback, "Natasha, where'd you get that crazy assumption of Steve leaving you. Steve wouldn't ever leave you. Not for anything or anyone."

Bobbi gave her a sympathetic smile. "Now, go out there and rock your wedding, Princess."

The ceremony was smooth. The Captain, all nicely dressed up was waiting patiently at the front of the altar. He was grinning widely at his future wife, whilst she walked down the aisle, linked arms with Nick Fury.

"And, do you, Natasha Romanoff take Steven Rogers as your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

The two Avengers leaned in for their first kiss as a married couple, while Tony Stark started an eruption of cheers and claps.
