Maya was on the balcony looking out to the beautiful, midnight sky. Her eyes bloodshot from the pain of the disaster. Tears streamed her cheeks. Like fountains her eyes filled with tears. Like rain in the winter, her cheeks poured the truth.
Memories flooded with memories of her and Natasha. Once after P.E. lesson Maya and Natasha went to the bathroom. No one else was there. They were both desperate for the toilet. 'You put the hand dryer on whilst I'm in the toilet.' Maya said to Natasha.
'No, you put the hand dryer on first whilst I pee.' Natasha replied.
'No. I need to go first.' Maya said.
'Excuse me. I need to go first.' Natasha screamed.
'We will both go at the same time.' And with that they both went into the toilet cubicle. Maya didn't want the embarrassing sounds of her peeing reach Natasha. Maya started singing and humming loudly to cover the sounds of her pee. When Natasha heard Maya she started to hum along and sing too. When they both got out of the cubicle they were in shock to see that other people were there listening to them singing. They embarrassedly washed their hands and hurried out of the bathroom. They both looked at each other and burst out laughing. They couldn't control their laughter.
Once, the two best friends were getting bored in their English lesson. A supply teacher took over their lesson. The teacher was as round as a globe, taking up half the room. Her skin moved in ripples as she waddled around, sweat oozing out of her skin like waterfalls. Drool dripped from her mouth, making a sickening puddle of thick saliva on her tight dress. Her clothes were drenched in the grease of oily foods, and the smell of her sweat was enough to make people in the next room faint. Maya and Natasha couldn't help but laugh their heads off as soon as she walked in. The table in front was asking for help from the teacher so she waddled over to them and helped them. She stuck out her huge bum in front of Maya and Natasha's face. By accident the teacher farted, loudly as all the heat from inside that felt uneasy escaped. 'Oops.' The teacher said embarrassedly as she put her hand on her mouth. Her face turned bright red like a tomato. The fart stank like eggs and old socks. Maya and Natasha covered their noses because of the horrific smell. The teacher didn't decide to move but she stayed there and carried on leaning forward to the other table and sticking her bum out towards Maya and Natasha. 'Right that's enough.' Maya said. She grabbed her English book and ripped out the paper on the last page of her book and folded it up neatly into a paper aeroplane and then threw it precisely at the teacher's huge bum. She turned around instantly. 'Who did that?' Maya and Natasha looked unknowingly at their books and didn't dare to look up at the teacher. Natasha's face was turning red as she closed her lips tightly to hold in the laughter. The hysterical laughter was making its way through Natasha's body, from her stomach to her throat. Natasha couldn't keep in her any longer. She exploded the laughter from her mouth and she spat all over the table whilst she laughed and laughed. Her belly ached because of the giggles. The teacher's face grew even red. It looked like her face as going to pop with anger and redness. 'Right then, you two girls get up and out of this class.' Natasha was still laughing uncontrollably. Tears were falling out of her eyes because she was laughing so much. 'But Mrs.', Maya started. 'It's not Mrs. it is Miss. Do you understand?' She shrieked from the top of her lungs. 'Ok. Miss.', Maya carried on.
'GET OUT OF MY CLASS!!!'
Maya sat on her bed smiling, thinking of the beautiful memories. She looked down at her bed sheet and she was back into deep thought again. Maya had over drank alcohol in a friend's house. Maya and Natasha both went to a party at a nerdy boy's house called Alex. They were both invited to attend the party so they went at seven pm. His parents went on holiday to London for a few days so he was home alone with his elder sister. Alex had seen where his parents kept all the alcohol in the house. He sneakily went into the store room downstairs and took a few bottles with the help of his elder sister. Firstly, Maya didn't want to drink. She kept on avoiding it. Everyone there was calling her a goody, goody and called her wimp. In the end she got really angry and she grabbed the whole bottle and sloshed it down straight away. Cheers spread across the entire room. 'Again, again, again', everyone was screaming. Maya's head was spinning in different directions and she saw double of everything. She grabbed another bottle that was in front of her and gulped it down forcefully, trying to prove that she was not a wimp. Maya was drunk throughout the entire party as she danced to all the music on the sofa. Natasha finally grabbed her down from the sofa and pulled her out of the house at about one thirty am. 'Maya, Maya!' Natasha screamed. 'Get into the taxi.' When Maya was in the taxi she was screaming and shouting. 'You're so handsome.' She said to the taxi driver.
'Ermm... thanks.' He replied. In the back Maya was dancing on the seat as she kept on whacking herself and Natasha tried to keep Maya still. Maya kept on singing nonstop. 'Let's go crazy, crazy, crazy till we see the sun...'
Once, Maya and Natasha went to a really boring, typical Indian wedding. Maya wore an elegant, emerald green sari that had beautiful gold embroidery around it. She had worn a gold, backless blouse to match it. She had paired the sari with gold accessories and kept her hair in a bun at the side of her head. She looked absolutely mesmerizing. Natasha on the other hand wore a hot pink, neon sari with a yellow blouse. She had paired this outfit with neon bangles and earrings. She kept her sleek, straight hair open. Overall, Natasha looked magical. In the wedding Maya and Natasha were getting bored. They had eaten so much because the food was finger licking tasty. There were crispy, spicy samosas for starters and for mains there was hot, tasty Biryaani and chicken curry with naan bread. The dessert was the best. Rich, creamy ras malai and mango ice cream. After the food had finished on their table the two of them were still mouthwatering for more. A while later Natasha saw some waiters taking food upstairs to another wedding. 'Let's go upstairs.' Natasha suggested. 'I don't think that it's a good idea.' Maya replied. 'No let's go!' Natasha said stubbornly pulling Maya out of her seat and dragging her upstairs. When the both of them reached the top their mouths dropped open in amazement. The wedding hall was decorated so beautifully. It was a like a fairytale. Maya and Natasha walked inside stealthily and sat on the back table. The food was served once again. Whilst they were both digging into the perfectly, cooked food someone walked over to them. 'Hey girlies', the woman said.
'Hi.' Natasha said with her mouth stuffed with biryaani. 'The food is really nice.' She added. Maya kicked Natasha underneath the table. The lady had noticed and stared at the both of them. Maya put on a fake smile and Natasha scowled.
'Hmm...' The woman wondered. 'I've never seen you two before.''Well... to tell you the truth we just came for the f...' Natasha said with her mouth stuffed with food. Maya kicked her again. 'Well... we are your dad's, uncles, children's, step-mothers, donkey's owners, brothers, sisters!' The poor woman couldn't catch up. She looked at them blankly. She turned around for a while and Maya and Natasha ran out of the wedding hall. After they had got back downstairs Maya looked at Natasha's hands. She was still holding her ice cream. 'It's really nice you know.' With that they both burst out laughing and went back to their original wedding hall.
Maya sat in her cozy bedroom that was haunting her with the memories of her and her best friend, Natasha. She looked out of the window and sighed. Tears dropped out of her eyes again and she wiped them away with the back of her hand.
