Maya was awakened in the morning by the sounds of her curtains being dragged open. The early morning sun rays bounced of her walls and forcefully made its way through to her eyes even though she tried her best to cover them with her duvet. A few moments later she felt something pulling the duvet away from her. At first Maya trembled as she thought it was a monster or a vampire trying to suck her blood. But then she thought again. Monsters and vampires only appeared at night and not during the early morning.
Bravely, Maya picked up the duvet that was being tugged and saw a random guy standing next to her bed. Maya blinked and rubbed her eyes hardly, to get her out of her sleep. 'A handsome monster', she muttered under her breath as she scratched her head. 'What?' The stranger asked. His voice was mature and deep.
Maya looked up at him. He towered over Maya with his tall, lanky body that was slim. He had a little bit of a beard and had dark, charcoal hair. On the side of his cheek he had a small scar, which was deep into his skin. He wore black ripped jeans with a blue hoodie. Overall, he looked like a street gangster. The stranger walked slowly towards her and sat on her bed. 'Who are you?' Maya asked scared.
'Your stalker.' He replied slyly. Maya stared at his face. She was frightened. 'I know everything about you,' He said leaning in closer. 'You're a beautiful girl called Maya Khan. You are nineteen years old and you go to St. Teresa College. Your brother is called Musa and... there are lots more stuff that I don't want to say incase you might freak out.' Maya stared at him dumbfounded not knowing what to say.
'Who are you?' She gulped. The total stranger leaned in even closer whilst Maya tried hard to move back away from him. 'Your stalker and crazy lover', He replied once again whispering, with is husky voice with a slight romantic tone. Maya was silent. He smirked and touched her hand. 'Let me go! Stop it! Go away!' She kept on screaming.
'Joking calm down,' he said laughing lightly. Maya was still screaming. The guy got up and took a step back putting his hands in the air. Maya quietened down. 'I mean it. I am no stalker or crazy lover. I was just kidding.' Maya sat silently as he spoke. 'Remember me... I'm your cousin Adam from the UK... Didn't your mum tell you that I was coming over?' He asked slowly.
'No. Are you sure your Adam?' She said confusingly. Adam put his hands up again in the air.
'I swear down I am Adam... My love for you is like diarrhoea, I just can't hold it in.' Adam said with his pickup line.
'You and your pickup lines! You scared the heck out of me.. You may have changed in appearance but never in personality.' Maya giggled.
'Love cannot change so why should I change?' He replied again, smiling. Maya laughed a little in the thought of her getting scared that it was a real stalker.
At breakfast Adam entertained the entire table with the embarrassing story of her meeting with him. Everyone was enjoying his company. They were all laughing and cracking silly jokes except from Maya. She was sat on the end of the table worrying for Natasha and Harris.
