Maya woke up late the next day and just about missed her doctor's appointment. She wasn't able to sleep all night. She kept on thinking about Harris. She quickly changed into her teal blouse which had black polka dots on them and paired them with a pair of black, super skinny jeans. She sprayed some dry shampoo on her hair and then put her hair up in a messy bun. She grabbed her white and pink backpack and ran downstairs. She grabbed a banana and she pulled her phone out of the charger and ran out of the house in rush. She ran and ran as fast as she could all the way to the bus stop and she surprisingly caught the bus on time.

She got off the bus stop near her doctor's and she walked the rest of the way. She walked past a café and looked through the window. There she saw Natasha and Harris. Natasha was wearing a strapless, tight mini, black dress that glistened in the light. Maya thought that was too revealing and she didn't like it when Natasha wore that in front of Harris even thought she thought that Natasha could pull it off beautifully. Natasha had her sleek hair let out which she had straightened. She had applied black Smokey eye shadow and a nude lipstick which looked beautiful on her. Harris was wearing a black shirt and black trousers which matched Natasha's dress. They were both sitting in front of each other with a beautiful, red rose in the middle. Maya felt pain her as she looked at both of them. She felt neglected and alone. She hated herself. Her father only loved her. Her mother only loved Musa. Now because her father is not here she feels unloved. Her face turned bright red and she was drowning in her own sweat. Tears suddenly fell from her eyes and her heart started to thump with jealousy and anger. Maya wiped the tears off her face and ran and ran to the doctors.

When Maya got to the doctors she stopped near the door and broke down in tears again. She wiped them off with her tissue and leaned against the wall. She was fatigue. She was stale and worn out. She tried to take deep breaths and drank some water. Maya hurried towards the receptionist, but somehow a chair appeared out of nowhere which made Maya trip over and she found herself flat on her stomach and all her possessions from her backpack were scattered all over the floor. She got up and looked around embarrassed whilst everyone stared at her trying to hold their laughter. She quickly picked up all of her possessions that were scattered on the floor and hurried to the desk.

'May I help you', the receptionist said loudly as if Maya was deaf.                                                            'Ermm... yes. I've got an appointment today-'                                                                                                              'What's the name?' The receptionist broke in.                                                                                                         'Maya Khan.' 'And how would one spell that?' The receptionist asked calmly.

'The same as two would.' Maya said foolishly.                                                                                                              'No, I mean how do you spell your name?'                                                                                                                  'M-A-Y-A. K-H-A-N!' Maya yelled. The receptionist put up her glasses and typed Maya's name.       'You're late!' The receptionist protested. 'I know. I am sorry.' Maya said sarcastically.                                  'The doctor won't be very happy.' The receptionist said rudely. Maya rolled her eyes at her. 'Have a seat and the doctor will call you.'
