all the noise kind of drained out like my ears were popped, it felt stuffy. the back of my head felt really hot and everything around me stated to darken kind of like a phone screen going dark the quiet was really loud. (if you have ever experienced this it is really fucking scary, the silence being loud)
I leaned against the wall and looked around everyone was staring at me but I couldn't speak I tried but couldn't hear my self. it could have come out in a weird jumbled mess, I wouldn't know.
a scary and blurry looking Ronnie walked over to me and looked in my eyes.
"vrrvshyvooshy" was what I heard, I shook my head which cause a lot of pain. this is the worst thing i have ever experienced. this is terrifying and painful.
"balloowarshoo" I looked over at Jacky and the pain in my head increased.
"rallonafoo" Ryan said and I took a step towards a chair. it feels like I'm walking on JELLO I have basically no balance.
Ronnie grabbed my arm and I put my other arm out into the abyss of terror finally I sat down on the couch.
"doooowaaaweeeegerrr" Jacky said while holding a glass of water out to me. I looked up at him and nodded my head but didn't take the water. he still held the cup out to me. I finally took it but proceeded to spill it on myself. i screamed it was most likely cold but it was burning my skin. Ronnie reached towards my face and felt my forehead then said something to Ryan.
"huuuufuuubuuuurrreeeeee" Ryan left the room then came back about a minute later, to my judgment; with a thermometer.
it was one of those weird ones that Ronnie ran across my forehead. he looked at it and his now demon looking eyes widened.
"weeenuutwooolalatal" he said to Ryan then picked me up. he carried me out to the car and sat me in the back with Jacky next to me.
we arrived at a hospital and doctors were immediately rushing over to me. ice packs were all over me and needles were being poked into my hand and arm then everything went darker than dark and quieter than silence.
I woke up shivering but everything is back to normal. I could see hear and felt normal, my mouth was just dry.
i opened my eyes and sat up in the hospital bed.
"Ronnie?"
"hmm? oh you're awake!" Ronnie jumped up from the chair and ran over to the bed.
"what happened?"
"you were acting weird and could barely walk you were like out of it and you looked high or something and you had a fever of 105.3 and we brought you here, they brought your fever down then you kind of passed out"
"it was terrible, if you thought it was scary seeing your daughter like that you should have thought about what it was like for me, I couldn't hear any thing but silence and it was LOUD. the things I did hear were mixed in were loud jumbled up noises like bells and shit, everything was dark and I could feel my LEGS they were like JELLO everything hurt and the back of my head was hot. I could barely breath! that water that Jacky spilled on me felt like boiling water"
"That was a lot. I am surprised at the water because it came from the fridge, it even had ice in it"
"but why did I get a fever?"
"they don't know"
"can I go home?"
"they said that since your fever broke, there were no other problems that once you woke up you could go home"
"then go sign the papers" Ronnie got up and went to the nurses station. he brought back a small stack of papers to fill out but quickly finished the task. a doctor came in then said we could leave. i changed back into my normal clothes and cut off the hospital bracelet.
"to the batmobile!" I said and pointed towards the doors. I ran out to the car and waited by the door for Ronnie to unlock the car. once he did so I got in and so did he. I turned the radio on and plugged the iPod that he kept in here on and plugged it in. I scrolled down till I found "fair-weather fans", one of Ronnie's songs.
"why do you want to listen to this?"
"because I like it"
"I didn't know you liked this song"
"I do" I was mouthing the words and at some parts was quietly going along with Ronnie.
when the song ended I played it again. and this time was saying every word as quietly as possible so he would hear me, I don't know what would happen if he could hear me do that. I cant rap, I don't want to, i don't really like rap all that much; it disappoints me that I could with a little practice.
Ronnie turned it off but I hadn't noticed for like ten or fifteen seconds because I was too focused and staring out the window.
"hey turn it back on!" he just looked at me and I could see he was trying not to smile.
"you were doing it"
"was not, no matter how many times you say I was and that I could or can I will deny it till I die, I don't ever want to be able to do that or be known for it"
"why not?"
"I know you will question this but it is embarrassing"
"how so?"
"it's just embarrassing okay! you know what has been said about me a couple of times? that I am 'the white guy who raps about avocado's' daughter, I don't want do be known as avocado two" I shouted at him and turned the song back on.
"when did I ever rap about avocados?"
"the people at school take the simplest line and can form a whole thing about it, rolling stone you said avocado so know that is my nickname. I have to live with the nickname avocado's daughter even though it never had anything to do with me"
he sighed and we continued the ride home in silence.
