*VIC'S P.O.V.*
I woke up the next morning feeling happy. I couldn't remember what happened last night, but with a little time I remembered. I started to smile all over again and picked up my phone. Dialing Sam's number, I counted the rings.
One ring... Two rings... Three rings...
"Hey Vic!" I could hear the smile in her voice.
"Hey Sam!" My mouth turned up into a smile without my force and my heartbeat seemed to speed up.
We discussed the movie and how much fun we had the night before. Neither of us seemed to bring up the kiss. I was afraid that maybe she wanted to pretend it never happened. I thought about how perfect it was. Her soft pink lips seemed to fit perfectly with mine and it seemed mutual. Not forcefully hard but not reluctantly soft. Just... perfect. I realized that she was perfect.
"Vic? Are you still there?" My mind finally snapped out of it and I heard her speaking again.
"Wait what? Sorry I was spacing out." I felt like an idiot.
"I said I need to shower for the concert." She giggled and said she'd meet me there. I smiled and agreed. We shared our 'see you later's and hung up.
*SAM'S P.O.V.*
I woke up with a smile on my face. I danced out of bed and into the bathroom to freshen up. Humming to myself out of pure joy from last night, I heard my phone playing my ringtone, Stay Away From My Friends. Hearing the piano solo I couldn't help but think of Vic all over again. I answered the phone knowing it was him before he even spoke.
"Hey Vic!" I was totally grinning.
"Hey Sam!" I could imagine his soft smile by the tone of his voice.
After talking about last night I noticed he never even mentioned the kiss. Fearing maybe he wanted to forget about it, I thought about how fast I was rushing. I didn't want to hurt myself again by picking the wrong guy but something about Vic was different. He seemed so sweet and so genuine. And not because he portrayed that personality through music but just his small little caring gestures; his warm hugs, his gentle touch, and his soft eyes. I knew I was falling hard for him but I didn't want to admit it. Fearing becoming choked up I decided to take a shower.
"Hey Vic I'll be back. Need to shower for the concert!" I was looking forward to this afternoon. I couldn't wait to see him again. I just wanted to hug and kiss him again.... I noticed he hadn't replied to me.
"Vic are you still there?" I started to think he'd hung up.
"Wait what? Sorry I was spacing out." He seemed amused but I didn't question him more. I repeated myself and giggled. After saying goodbye I went to shower.
*VIC'S P.O.V.*
After taking a shower and picking out some black jeans with my JAWS shirt, I looked in the mirror. As I'm questioning my outfit, Mike walks in.
"Hey bro what are you doing?" He wore a smirk on his face.
"Just making sure I look good," I laughed "Jealous?" I super model posed and winked.
Cracking up he asked, "Who are you trying to impress? Sam?"
Instantly the smile left my face and I blushed. "Pfft.. no.."
Mike noticed the change in my attitude and motioned for me to sit down. "Let it out bro. I know you enough to read your face like a book." Reluctantly, I told him all of what I thought about her. By the end I was smiling like a dork and thinking all about her again. I could see Mike smirking.
