*SAM'S P.O.V.*

After the concert I decided I needed to confide in the guys. Brittney and I packed up all the merch and carried it inside. She couldn't stay on the bus, due to no room, which made me feel bad and suggest that she bunk in my room.

"Are you allergic to cats?" I asked warily.

"No! I adore cats!" Her eyes sparkled.

Jaime came out carrying Tigger and said, "Then you'll love Tigger." He smiled and got closer to Brittney so she could pet her.

"Oh my gosh! Is she yours?" She looked at Jaime in total awe.

"No", he laughed, "she's Sam's." He looked at me with a smile. I was confused so I spoke up.

"No, she's ours. Jaime and I share joint custody now. The minute he saw her, they had an instant connection." I smiled because Jaime looked like he'd just been given the White House.

"Seriously?!" He looked at me in shock and I nodded. "You're fucking awesome!" He ran over and hugged me, squishing Tigger in the middle. She seemed un-phased by this which made me happy.

Jaime and Brittney walked to his bunk while I went to find Vic. While searching I ran into Mike.

"Hey," he laughed. "What's the rush little dude?" He rustled my hair still grinning.

"Have you seen Vic?" I looked around Mike and behind me.

"No... why? Something wrong?" He gave me a questioning look.

I sighed. "Yeah actually a lot." Mike motioned for me to sit down. I sat and he slumped down next to me.

"I'm prepared." He wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

I loved Mike. Because no matter what was going on he found a way to wriggle under your skin and get you to tell him. You could trust him with your life and not regret anything you told him. He was like the older brother I wished I could have.

"My friend Val... She..." A tear escaped from the safety of my eye. "Her boyfriend beat her again and killed her unborn child..." I sobbed into Mike's shirt uncontrollably.

"He WHAT?!" Mike's body became rigid. He grabbed me by my shoulder and made me look at his face. "Tell me everything Sam!"

I told him everything about Jay and his history. I told him all about Val and her baby and our past. When I finished Mike looked like he'd just witnessed a murder, which in a way he did. He looked me straight in the face and said, "Take me with you." It was then that Vic walked in.

I walked in to find Sam and Mike sitting on the couch. Mike had his hands on Sam's shoulders and it was obvious that she had been crying. I ran over to her.

"Sam are you okay?" I nudged Mike out of the way. She nodded and hugged me. "Mike, fill me in." I stared at him the whole time he told me the issue. Before he finished, Sam found her voice and spoke up.

"Vic I need to leave." Tears rolled down her cheek without hesitation.

The life left my face. Everything I'd finally began to feel was leaving. "Sam... why?" I couldn't think of anything else to say. I was at a loss for words.

"I need to save Val.. She can't stay there. I need to be there for her." She hugged me close but my body didn't have the strength to hug her back.

"I want to go with her to give that Jay a knuckle sandwich." Mike cracked his knuckles which caused me to jump. I was in my own world; I was sad and heartbroken. Why was she leaving me? How could she do this? I loved Sam and I wasn't about ready to let her go so easily.

"Vic?" I finally heard Sam's voice again. I looked at her emotionless. "Are you okay?" She looked worried and touched my cheek.

"I'm fine." I said in the most monotone voice I could summon.

"Vic..." I released myself from Sam's grip and walked out of the bus.

I should have never let her in. I should have never let myself feel. I thought. I could hear Sam calling my name but I chose to ignore her.

"Vic! Come back!"

I grabbed Vic's shoulder and turned him around. He stared me dead in the eyes.

"What." There was no more life in his voice which caused my skin to get goose bumps.

"Vic I'm not leaving without you."

For a moment, things stood still and it was just Vic and I. Tony, Jaime, Brittney, and Mike were all just blurs on the side.

*VIC'S P.O.V.*

"What?" I stared at her with confusion. Was she crazy? I couldn't just leave tour. But I had to help my girlfriend... But I had to help my fans!

Tears formed over my eyes and I blinked them away. "Sam... I can't."

I could almost hear her heart shatter. "Then stay with me? Until I come back in a few days?" Her tears wouldn't stop.

I had no choice. I had to take a chance. She was doing what any good friend would do. And I had to trust her to come back to me...

"All right." She gasped and hugged me tighter than ever. "But please.... Come back."

Vic had no idea how fast I intended on coming back. I wouldn't want to spend a minute without him. I kissed him longer than anyone ever should in public and brought him back to the bus with everyone else following.

That night, we all watched movies. Jaime and Britt cuddled with Tigger in between. Mike watched intently while arm wrestling Tony. Vic held me like there was no tomorrow. It all felt like a family and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Eventually Vic dragged me away to his bunk. Nobody peeled their eyes away to see where we were going. He kissed me over and over again. It seemed like in one swift motion our clothes were on the floor. That night was possibly the best night of my life.
