*VIC'S P.O.V.*

It was five o'clock in the morning when I awoke. I could hear someone moving around so I got out of bed to look. The sound led me to Sam's bunk. I could see Brittney sleeping peacefully while Sam opened and closed drawers.

"Sam why are you up so early?" She jumped at the sound of my voice and turned around quick.

"Oh!" She turned her voice down to a whisper. "I was hoping to not wake anyone." She finished folding a pair of jeans before she turned to look at me. "I'm sorry. Get some sleep."

"I don't want to sleep." I went over and held her hands in mine. "Why are you packing so much?" My eyes skimmed over her suitcase.

"I, uhh, don't know when I'll be back." She looked down on the ground.

I sighed and ran my hands through my hair. "Why not?" I didn't look away from her face until I got an answer.

"I don't know.... I just don't know if she'll come with. And even if she does there's no room on here because of me and Britt." Her voice was breaking. My mind resurrected a thought I'd had last night but I quickly pushed it away.

"So you're leaving and not coming back?" I asked quietly.

"Well I didn't say that. But I definitely don't know when I'll be back."

I gave up pushing away the thought and pulled out my phone. I dialed a number quick and waited for an answer.

"Vic who are you calling?" Sam whispered harshly. I ignored her and waited.

"Hello?" A sleepy voice answered.

I walked out of the room for a bit to ask my manager to push the Vegas date back.

"What? Why?" He sounded irritated.

"Personal issues. I'm sorry but we need a few days off to take care of things." I was hoping he would say yes.

"Vic I don't know. This will be one of your biggest shows. Why so suddenly?"

"Tragedy doesn't come knocking on your door does it?" I began pacing up and down the hallway.

"Alright fine. Three days that's all you have!" I jumped up and thanked him. After I hung up and I went back to Sam's bunk.

"Vic what was that all ab-" I caught her in a surprise hug and swung her around. "What the hell?" Sam looked at me with confusion.

I grinned and shouted, "We're coming with you!"

*SAM'S P.O.V.*

I was trying to pack all my clothes quietly and get out of the bus. I didn't want anyone to follow me. I didn't know why but I wanted to do this alone. I guess I was afraid of letting Val know what I had been up to lately. I was lost in my thoughts when I heard someone speak.

"Sam why are you up so early?" I jumped and looked back to see a sleepy Vic staring at me.

"Oh!" I lowered my voice and continued to speak. "I was hoping not to wake anyone." I folded my jeans and looked at him. "Get some sleep."

Vic refused and walked over to grab my hands. His eyes took in all my clothes. "Why are you packing so much?"

I looked at the ground. "I, uhh, don't know when I'll be back."

Vic ran his hands through his hair and sighed. "Why not?" He wouldn't look away from me.

I wanted to tell him why but I didn't know how to say it. I told him that I didn't know if she'd even come with. I was worried about the lack of space on this bus. By the time I was done speaking my voice had started to break.

Vic got quiet. "So you're leaving and not coming back?"

"Well I didn't say that." I said quickly. "But I definitely don't know when I'll be back.

Vic pulled out his phone and dialed a number walking away. "Vic who are you calling?" I whispered but he either didn't hear me or ignored me.

I thought that I had made him upset and that he was going back to bed. My eyes teared up but I blinked them away. Maybe that's better. Maybe if he's mad or upset he'll let me go by myself.

I shook my head. What was I thinking? How rude of me! But after some time Vic ran back into the room.

"Vic, what was that all ab-" He scooped me up into a hug and swung me around. "What the hell?" I said with confusion.

Vic was grinning and said loudly, "We're coming with you!"

When Vic told me they were coming with me I didn't know how to react. I didn't want him to blow off his fans for me but I also didn't want to be away from him. I put down the sweater I was folding and turned to look at Vic.

"Vic, you know I love being with you. And I can promise you that I will be back. But you can't blow off your fans for me. These people have probably been waiting years and months to see you guys and now they're going to get told that they have to wait for who knows how long? I know that feeling... It's not a good one." I frowned. Vic looked at the ground and took a deep breath.

"But I want to be there to help you and your friend. And we'll find room for her on this bus." Vic's expression was soft yet serious. I couldn't tell him no. I sighed and nodded with a small smile.

Vic did a small jump in the air and kissed me before waking up everyone to get ready.

"Road trip guys!" He shouted down the hallway.
