sup guys, I hope you enjoy this, I've been inspired to write about a transfer student ever since I met the german girl at our school so I hope it turns out well.
Orange juice spilled out of my nose and I choked, "I'm sorry...what?"
My mom rolled her eyes, and tossed me a napkin while continuing to dunk a chocolate chip cookie in her coffee, "I said I found a transfer student to come live with us for a while."
"Am I boring you, Mom? Should I get suspended from school or take up smoking weed? Maybe fail a few classes?"
On the other side of me my dad grinned without looking up, he always pretended to be disappointed in my good grades and would threaten to ground me for my good behavior.
She glared at me, "no. I guess it was just a whim, I think it would be quite an experience to have a foreign student come here."
"Heheh," I twirled a bottle of louisiana hot sauce in between my fingers.
My dad raised his eyebrows, "Honey, you had better keep an eye on your daughter here, the poor kid won't have any taste buds left when she's done with him."
"My kid?" My mom asked incredulously.
I feel so loved it's incredible. Note the sarcasm.
"So what's the deal with this kid...where's he from? How old is he? What's his criminal record like?"
My mom ignored the last comment, "his name is Adrian, he's sixteen, only a year older than you, dear, and he is from Rome."
"Like we need any more Italians around here," my dad said, inspecting his dark skin critically.
I snorted, "so he's a dego?"
My mom hurled a strawberry at me. Crazy Irish woman.
"Fine," I muttered. "But if he's a douche I'm gonna kick his ass."
