          Dear Midna,

I need your help, and quite quickly.  The Evil King Zant has taken over Hyrule castle, and Castle Town.  He is now heading towards the other provinces of Hyrule, and is soon going to take over all of Hyrule.  He is planning to turn all of Hyrule into a Shadowland, and not a peaceful one like yours over in the Twilight Palace.

He has killed my father, the King of Hyrule, and many other soldiers and people in Castle Town.  The town now looks frightful, and I am scared to look outside my window.  I am locked up in the highest tower in Hyrule Castle, and I cannot get out.  I am hoping this letter reaches you.  I need your powers Midna.  You are the Princess of Twilight, and you are the only one with the power strong enough.

There is someone to aid you in your quest, I need you to find him.  It is a boy, from the Faron Province.  He carries the Triforce of Courage, and he is the only one who can weild the Sword of Evils Bane, The Master Sword.  Zant is heading towards the Faron Woods next, so you need to get to him as quickly as possible; Zant wants the boy too, but to kill him to gain his power.

Please help me Midna, My country needs your help, and I know that you want your own equal revenge for Zant, for what he did to your people in the Twilght Palace.

          Sincerely,

          The Princess of Hyrule, Zelda.

I close the envelope around the letter, and use the melted wax from the candle on my bedside table to seal the opening.  I write 'Midna' on the front of the envelope, and carve a small triforce on the upper-right corner of the envelope, making sure that Midna will know the letter is from me.  I stand up with the letter in my hand and walk to the window.  I look out to a view of Hyrule that I never in my life have wanted to see.  Dark clouds pool over the town, pouring rain on the souls that used to be the happy people of Castle Town.  I open the window, feeling a sudden rush of chilly air come in.  I raise my right hand, saying a prayer to the Lanayru Guardian to grant me a dove in this time of need.  My triforce of wisdom glows, and a shimmery gold dove appears in front of my right hand.

"Deliver this to the Princess of the Twilight, Midna." I whisper to the glowing dove.  It takes the letter into its smal mouth, and flies off into the distance.  I stand there in front of the window, hoping that the wall of Twilight will not block it from its journey.

"What are you doing?" I turn to see a guard standing at the doorway. I look out the window once more, seeing a light dissappear into the twilight, then look back to the guard.  I cannot see the guards face, because it is covered by metal headgear.

"It was a little too warm, so I opened the window to let in some air." I say, trying to make up the best lie I could on the spot.  The guard nodded before he began to speak again.

"The King has asked me to check in on you," He says. "He has prepared a meal, and wants you to meet him at half past nineteen hours." It takes me a few seconds to recognize that he means 'Zant' as the the King.

"Alright, tell him I will be there at that time." I reply to the guard. He nods in response and leaves the room, closing the door behind him.  I  turn and walk towards my closet, opening it and looking at the gowns in front of me.  I am wearing my gray casual house dress; it has a loose waist tied with a ribbon in the back, long sleeves, and layers of the gown going to the bottom.  I look at the clothes I still have, and see the purple gown that I was wearing ealier in the week.  I take it out and lay it on my bed, along with a black cloak that was given to me by the people of the Twilight.

I start untying the dress I have on, loosening the ribbon in the back.  I lift the gown over my head, careful not to catch the material on anything. I would usually let it fall to the ground, but the floors in this room are filthy with dust and stained with water and mold.  I carefully slip it off and hang it in the closet. I put the fancy dress on, along with the black cloak and tie it loosely around my neck.  I check myself in the mirror.  My hair is greasy, I have dark circles around my eyes, and I seem thinner than I was before.  I head out the room, closing the door behind me.

OKAY.

SO.

I know I haven't updated in a millenium, but now I have!

I know this is a very short chapter, but thats because I wanted to focus on Princess Zelda and how she might of (maybe) gotten Midna's notice to go get Link.

I'm gonna be on Christmas break in a week! so You shall expect a chapter update on this AND "The Girl Made of Fire"... and possibly a short story I have been working on :).
