Midna's POV

I feel really bad for leaving Link alone in such a critical condition, but I had no choice today, it's the only time that I'm able to go see Princess Zelda alone, and more quickly than I would if Link had gone with me. Flying for me is simple now that I am in my imp form, and it feels wonderful. I think that is probably the only positive that I have gained being transformed. I have to say though, I'm not that fond of my look, and it took a little bit of time to get used to it.

Flying over Faron woods was a nice sight; seeing the trees, the Spirit Spring and the Forest Temple from a distance. My eyes landed upon another undiscovered place in the Forest that I had no idea even existed. It was mostly covered in tall, bushy trees, so I could only make out a small portion of broken walls, which I thought was an entrance or an exit.

Flying over Hyrule Field, I see the castle in the distance. I speed up a bit, feeling the harsh wind harder. I arrive at the south gate of Castle Town shortly, moving upwards so the people walking around town don't see me. I fly up, higher and higher, reaching the window in the highest tower. I peer in and see the Princess sitting on her bed, writing in some sort of book. I gently knock on the window, and see her head jump up. She cranes her neck forward, squinting with her eyes to see who it is. When she realizes, I see what I recognize as a small gasp, and I see her tip toe over to the window.

She unlocks the window and opens it. "Midna, what are you doing here?" she asks. I slide into the room, feeling a sudden rush of warmth from the lit fireplace.

"I have to speak with you, Princess." I reply, She nods and walks over to her bed, sits, and smoothes down her beige tunic and trousers, which I assume is her night wear.

"Please, call me Zelda, I have agreed to call you Midna," she begins, "anyways, what is it that you must tell me?"

"You sent us to Faron Woods, to kill the monster that was taking over the Forest Temple," I begin, I pause for a few seconds, searching for the right words. "It was a very hard battle for Link, he got severely injured. Zelda, the monsters just get harder later on, what if he won't be able to do it?"

"I'm sure with more training and help he will be able to find strength and complete the tasks, I have not lost faith in Link."

I nibble on my bottom lip, and float a few feet closer to Zelda, now hovering directly in front of her. "I don't know, Zelda," I start. I try to gather my thoughts that are scattered all over the place, swimming around my head in circles. I look towards Zelda, her expression calm, serene, gazing out the window at the dark twilight clouds circling the province.

"I need you to trust Link, Midna," she smiles, "by trusting Link I know that you trust me."

Her head tilts over towards me, her sapphire eyes following, still gently smiling to soften the difficult atmosphere in the room.

"I can try. Right now he needs to rest, he has a couple of broken bones, so I don't know how long until he will be able to fight again," I mention.

"I have something that can help with that." Zelda stands, and kneels by her nightstand, taking out a piece of paper from one of the shelves. She writes something, and then hands the paper to me.

I look at the paper, and see 'Renado in Kakariko Village' written in cursive.

"Who's this?" I ask.

"He's a Shaman, wonderful with medicine and physical healing. Now Link can have a chance to heal more quickly than he would without Renado's help." She nods when finished speaking, giving me a queue to put the paper away, and to leave soon.

"Thank you, Zelda."

"It is nothing, I must contribute as much as I can as well. What good is a Princess if she cannot protect her people and give assistance when needed, for anything." She stands, perfect posture with her shoulders back and head slightly tilted upwards.
