Zelda's POV
I wondered if Midna would be able to find the one chosen by the Gods. Hyrule is such a vast land; it's quite hard looking for someone in Castle Town, let alone the entire Kingdom.
But here he stood, in front of me, turned into a beast because of the effect of the Twilight. That's what makes him so different, he is the chosen one; the one that the Gods have given Courage to save Hyrule. There couldn't be any other reason to why he is a blue eyed beast.
"Midna, you've found him." I say. I look down into his eyes. The beast's face relaxed once he had recognized it was me.
"Well, it wasn't easy," Says Midna, "But I need to save my Kingdom too."
I crouch down and raise my hand to gently touch his head. As soon as my fingers touch his skin I can feel a strong sense of the Twilight, locked within him until he himself cures Hyrule of the Twilight.
"I'm so sorry." I say to him. "I must tell you of al the events that happened. You must know why I am asking for your help."
Link sits down on the floor, as if to show me that he is listening. Midna on the other hand is still floating in the air.
"My father was expecting guests. This was not unusual, for it was at least once a fortnight my father had guests visit the castle; shop keepers from Kakariko, the queen of the Zoras, even members of the Gerudo. What was strange though, was that the guest had no name. My father said he had a great power., a great power that he could use to help our Kingdom.
"He had no name until his name was announced right before his entry. My father was sitting beside me in the great hall. You can see it out this window actually. It is where I look every morning and evening, remembering the events that happened not too long ago.
"The entry did not go how it was planned. Within seconds of King Zants announcement, black creatures broke in through the doors and began attacking the soldiers. There were two hundred soldiers in the room on duty; only thirty-six survived the attack. Along with the lives lost, the entire room was destroyed. Pillars fell to the ground, there were holes in the ceiling, all of the curtains were ripped and set on fire.
"After the attack of the creatures, Zant had entered the room, walking towards where my father and I were standing. He had two creatures walking beside him. They looked like the ones that had attacked, but more stronger, as it looked like they had armor on their faces and shoulders. You could tell he was evil by the sound of his voice. A high pitched scream mixed with a low anger. It caused confusion for anyone that heard it, which I think was his plan.
"Zant had then given me two decisions; surrender, or die. At first, I had stood up, and was about to continue the fight when one of his creatures grabbed my father and started to strangle him. I cried out and ran towards him, being stopped by two more of his black creatures. He asked me the question again, this time I was on the verge of tears. Not knowing was to do I dropped down to my knees as a sign of surrender.
"I thought when I surrendered, he would let my father go. Instead, Zant instructed the black creatures to kill my father. In one sharp move, he was gone; lying on the floor, lifeless. I saw my father, the King of Hyrule, die in front of my own eyes. I chose to surrender, I didn't have any other choice, or else the people of my Kingdom would die as well.
"All the people know now is fear. Fear of a nameless evil. But I would rather have them live in the Twilight than dead." I could barely contain my tears after I finished speaking. Talking about my father's death is painful especially since it happened just a few days ago. I turn around to look out the window again, also to cover the tears that were beginning to fall down my cheek. I hear Midna sigh and turn around, changing the subject. "Midna, the shadow beasts said that they were looking for you. Why is that?" Midna looked away with a frown, showing a sign that she knew why.
"How should I know?" Responded Midna. I felt that it was because she escaped from the Twilight Palace, and Zant now wants to kill her. I turned to the wolf with the blue eyes.
"You have the same powers I do," I say. I raised my right hand and exposed a glow of three triangles, one shining more brighter than the other two, "You have the Triforce of Courage, and I have Wisdom."
"Who has Power?" Asks Midna.
"The seven sages in the Gerudo Desert had the Triforce of Power, but it was taken away by an evil force I do not know. The sages had protected the Power in the chambers where they reside currently, a place where no known human ever deared to explore because of it's danger."
"I'm pretty sure I can get there." Says Midna.
"You may have the strength, but you do not have the knowledge to know how." I replied. Her smile faded as she switched her position on Link's back. There was a sudden noise from the bottom of the tower. "You must go, now!" I said. I started leading them towards the large double doors.
"Why must we leave?" Asks Midna.
"The guard is coming to check on me, if he finds you two he'll kill you both." I push them outside the door and close it enough so that I can still see through. "Go out through the entrance you came into the stairwell with, It will take him a minute to climb all these stairs from the bottom." I put my hood up and close the door shut, locking it from the inside. I turn around and walk towards the window, seeing the Beast and Midna jump out of the exit onto the roof of the castle.

Link's POV
I jump out of the exit, back onto the roof outside. The atmosphere is still the same, dark and cloudy. Midna giggles and jumps off my back, into the air as I walk to the corner of the roof.
"Now that you know where you are, and what all of this is," She started while wavnig her right hand "now you can help me!"
Help you how? I don't know what I'm supposed to do! I think to her. She giggles and spins around a few times, floating higher each time.
She begins to speak. "Do you want to save the people of Hyrule?" She asks "Or do you want to see this entire land, and your home destroyed by the shadows. I'm fine with both, I live in the Twilight anyways!"
I look at her and see her grinning. I don't even know where to start, let alone save the entire land I think.
"Well, you're lucky that you have me! I can help you. I know where to start, and end as well." She says. I look down and nod my head, showing that I agree and will help her. She giggles again and flys up into the air dissapearing. I look around and see myself turning into black particles, also fading away.
