After Shannie's outburts last night, she left. I wasn't bothered since she always does this. She gets insecure about another female then gets in her feelings and leave.

But this time it was different. I came home from the studio and she was packing up her and Aubria's stuff.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I told you I'm not doing this anymore. I'm taking Aubria and I'm leaving." She replied without bothering to look at me.

"You're not taking my daughter."

"Yes I am."

"Shannie I'm not playing with you. Where is my daughter?" I raised my voice making her flinch.

"With my mom, where I'll be staying until I get a place of my own."

She zipped up the suitcase and walked towards the door, but I quickly blocked her from leaving.

"Move out my way, August."

"No, talk to me." I looked down at her with pleasing eyes.

"There's nothing to talk about." She pushed past me and proceeded out the room.

"Shannie!" I called out from the top of the stairs, but she didn't bother to look back and slammed the door behind her.

I wanted to go chase after her, but my mixed emotions were getting in the way.

"So you mean to tell me she left?" Chris asked while laughing.

"It's not funny."

"It is, I never knew Sharon had any type of common sense." He laughed harder, holding onto his stomach.

I rolled my eyes, sitting back into the leather couch.

Lani skipped downstairs and opened the door before the doorbell, letting Tara in. Kai came from behind her and her face lit up as soon as she saw me.

She ran into my arms and I kissed her all over her face.

"Why are you dressed in that?" Lani asked Tara making me turned around.

She was dressed in spandex shorts and a sports bra. I licked my lips taking in the view.

"Oh, I can't stay today. I'm going to work out with Christian." She said making me furrow my eyebrows and turn back around.

"They're gonna work out alright." Chris smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Shut up."

Kai went upstairs with Lani to see Leilani. I got up and walked outside to catch Tara who was just about to get in her car.

"Tara."

She sighed, "What do you want August?"

"I just wanted to say hi." I stuffed my hands in my pocket feeling unusually nervous.
