Tara, August, Chris, and Lani in the Media

♤♤♤

Tara

Lani, Chris, August, and I were all playing cards at the round table while the kids ran around the backyard.

"Man, you cheating." August said to me, obviously mad.

"You're just a sore loser." I rolled my eyes.

Meanwhile, Chris and Lani were basically dry humping in my lawn chair. They're even worse than before they got married.

"Can you two be mindful that there are children around." I looked at them in disgust.

"My bad." They said in unison.

I chuckled while shaking my head. Chris' phone lit up when it received a message.

"Check that for me, baby." Chris told Lani.

Lani picked it up, reading over the message. Her notrils flared as her eyes kept rereading it.

I'm getting the sense that the message wasn't something she wanted to see. It's about to get ugly.

"August take the kids upstairs to Kai's room." I pushed him to get the hint that he needed to be quick.

He quickly got up and lead the children into the house. Lani slammed the phone on the table and got out of Chris' lap.

"What's wrong?" He asked, pulling her to him by her waist, but she just forcefully pushed him away.

"You cheating on me, Chris?" She asked, making my eyes go wide.

Chris cheating on Lani? There's no way. The world has to be ending because Chris wouldn't dare.

"What? No-"

"You fucking liar!" She shouted, attacking him.

She was punching Chris like he was somebody off the street while he was trying to block and push her off.

"I'll end your life!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

I tried to pulled her off, but this girl is like the hulk right now. August came back just in time to help me.

After a while of trying to pull her off, we finally did. She wiggled around in August's grip trying to get back to Chris.

"Who the fuck is that bitch in your phone talking about she pregnant?!" She yelled, still trying to get loose.

Chris wiped the blood from his busted lip, "I don't know! I didn't cheat!"

He got up and walked through the sliding doors, to the kitchen. Lani elbowed August, running after him.

"August!"

"I think she punctured my kidney." He groaned.

We followed into the kitchen to see Lani holding a knife, crying.

I knew she was really hurt. I haven't seen Lani cry like this since her grandma passed away when we were thirteen years old.

"B-baby." Chris looked at the knife nervously.

"How could you do this to me? I've been a good wife for these past two months, I gave you four kids." She cried, walking closer.

Four?

Now she had Chris looking nervous and confused. With a flick of the wrist, she threw the knife at him. He ducked, having the knife stick into the wall behind him like a dart.
