"Baby Kaiser is coming!" Lani squealed as she danced around the room.

Meanwhile I was trying my best to stay calm through the contractions. And August still wasn't here.

"Lani, stop dancing and hold my hand." I told her.

"Ohh that's a big one." She pointed at the screen monitoring my contractions.

"Where is August?" I cried.

"He said his flight was delayed but he's on his way now. I bet you wish you went on that tour now." She said, but I was too busy crying in pain. This was ten times more painful than when I had Kai.

"It's okay, it'll be worth it in the end." She stroked my hair.

"It hurts so bad."

"The reason why I got my tubes cut and burned. No more big headed Brown babies for me."

"I'm here! I'm here!" August ran into the room. "Why are you crying?"

I looked at him like he was stupid, "I have a human being making its way out of my vagina!"

"I'm sorry." He held his hands up in surrender.

"Aug, I can't do this." I told him.

"Of course you can." He wiped my tears.

"They won't give her an epidural because her blood count is low." Lani said, still stroking my hair.

It felt like an eternity of agony until the nurse came in and checked my dilation.

"Looks like you're ready to bring a baby boy into this world." She smiled, which I wanted to knock off her face right now.

"You got this baby." He grabbed my hand before kissing my sweaty forehead.

"He looks just like me." August said proudly as he looked down at Kaiser sleep in his bassinet.

"Unfortunately." Lani mumbled. "I have to get home before Chris kills our children. We'll be back tomorrow with Kai." She grabbed her coat and left.

"Thank you." He broke the awkward silence between us.

We haven't talked at all since he left for his tour three months ago after we broke up. He calls to talk to Kai and that's it. The most he's said to me is 'how is the baby'.

"For what?" I asked.

"For giving me a son. But I'm also sorry for not fulfilling my promise to you which was that I wasn't going to leave you. I wasn't here for your whole pregnancy and I could've missed the birth of another one of my kids." He said.

"It's my fault too. I was pushing you away because of my own fear and I'm sorry because you were actually trying to do right by me."

"Even though we aren't together, I still love you." He gave me a small smile. "I love you so much that I haven't slept with one groupie. And there's a lot."

I playfully hit him in his stomach while laughing. Kaiser started whining which evolved into actual cries.

"You ready to change your first diaper?" I smirked at August.

"It can't be that hard." He shrugged.
