I dress quickly.

I'm wearing a baby blue skater dress with a rounded neckline, nude pumps, and I roughly curled my hair and did my makeup. I don't really care how I look because my mom or Victoria is going to pick out something to complain about. I won't talk back to my mom, but nothing stops me from doing it to Victoria.

Before I leave, I find a clutch to match and put my cards inside so I don't have to carry a larger purse. I told the guys to meet me downstairs, so I'm hoping they're already waiting. I also told them not to change their clothes or anything. I don't have a problem with what they wear whatsoever, but my mom and all her friends definitely will.

And it's great because Tyler, Benji, and Evan don't give a shit. They're all up for pissing my mom off any way they can and I'll help.

I keep a firm grip on the railing as I descend the concrete stairs so I don't tumble down them. They're waiting for me and I'm grateful for it. "I know how you guys love the f word and I know my mom hates it," I say.

They turn around and they all look slightly surprised. My gaze settles on Tyler's. "Especially you," I add.

"Um, who are you?" He asks.

"Funny," I say sarcastically and look to Benji. "Eat whatever, talk to whoever about whatever. Go crazy. Throw food at each other and talk with food in your mouth. And if you meet a tall blonde named Victoria, feel free to call her a raging bitch and spill a drink on her."

Evan's lips form a grin. "My girlfriend would not be happy with me today."

"Do things that would piss your mom off," I tell them. "It'll work, I guarantee it."

They all exchange smiles and nod. "Let's do it."

We walk to my car for the second time today and get in. Tyler sits next to me again and the other two get in the back.

The drive to Evelyn's is a good thirty minutes. I let Tyler choose the music, but he isn't too happy about it because he says something about his missing playlists. I stick my tongue out at him and continue driving. "I can't believe you guys are this okay with pissing my mom off."

"It's for the free food," Evan says.

"Nah, it's to piss your mom off," Tyler pipes in. "You already know how easily I can annoy people. Oh, I'll break out the story of when I went camping and got poison ivy in places you can't even imagine."

"That's disgusting." I wrinkle my nose. "Keep it."

Benji laughs in the back. "I have a story about eating bugs when I was little."

"Oh my gosh, you guys are gross."

"Hey!" Evan says. "I don't have any gross stories. My mother told me I was an angel."

"I'm sure she did, Evan," Tyler says in a baby voice. "Your girlfriend says something totally differently."

"Tyler!" I glance at him. "While we're still in the car, keep your mind clean. Around my mom, bury your brain in a sewer for all I care."

I see him shrug out of the corner of my eye.

In another twenty minutes, we make it to the rich part of Orlando. The part I hate and thought I escaped. Getting out of here is the best thing I've done. "How rich is this lady?" I hear Benji ask.
