------------

We both start walking towards the door and I reach it first. I pull it open and Tyler stands with Mason on the other end. They're both matching in black suits with red bow-ties and Tyler's hair is slicked back out of his face. The blue hair still stands out, but my breath hitches. "Your ride waits," Tyler says and offers me his arm.

I smile and loop my arm through his. "And where are we going?"

"I can't tell you that," he says. "But what I can tell you is that you look better in that dress than I expected."

Blush creeps up my cheeks, warming them. "Never thought I'd ever see you in a suit."

Tyler smiles. "It's only temporary."

We start walking down the hall and reach the elevator. We ride it down to the lobby and outside, there's a sleek black SUV waiting for us. I'm used to that part, because I didn't start driving until I was sixteen. All my life I've been waiting for that black car.

The driver is waiting by the door and he opens it when we approach. Tyler grabs my hand and I use my free one to lift the dress as I climb inside. I move towards the back and Tyler follows, sliding in next to me. Bea and Mason sit in the row in front of us and the driver pulls out of the hotel.

Tyler finds my hand again, lacing his fingers through mine and gives my palm a small squeeze. "Are you surprised?" He asks and he's closer than I thought. His breath brushes over the skin on my neck.

"Yes and no," I say honestly. "Only because I know what to expect from you, but I never actually do. Does that even make sense?"

Tyler chuckles. "Makes perfect sense and I take that as a compliment by the way."

We continue driving through the city, the buildings are bright and alive and I've seen every color skirt over the streets. The conversation in the car is light, but Mason and Bea have barely talked. I know they basically spent the whole day together because she didn't want to be stuck with Tyler and I.

Then the car comes to a stop.

I can barely see out the window, but I follow Tyler's lead. Mason gets out first, offering his hand to Bea to help her out. Tyler does the same with me, but doesn't let go of my hand once we're back on solid ground.

While Tyler talks to the driver, I take in my surroundings. It's a hotel, at least 30 floors, and it's laced in cyan neon lights on each floor. We're standing in front of the entrance and I don't spot the name anywhere because we're standing near valet underneath a concrete roof.

The driver gets back in the car and we head towards the entrance.

A guy walks up to us, close to Tyler's age. They're close in height, but the guy is a couple of inches shorter and his hair is nearly white. They greet each other like they're best friends and when the guy greets Mason too, I'm starting to think that's the case. "I was happy you guys called," he says. "I didn't know when you'd be back in town."

"We never come to Vegas without calling you," Tyler says with a smile. "This is Maggie and Bea."

He smiles and offers me his hand to shake. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Ben," he says and then taps his nametag. "Tyler's definitely talked a lot about you."

"He does talk a lot," I joke. "It's nice to meet you too."

Ben smiles and shakes Bea's hand as well. He looks around for a moment and then pulls us away from the entrance. "Tonight, Tyler and Maggie will be Silas and Penelope Townsend. They're some prestigious couple from California, but they won't be here tonight because Mr. Townsend is a heart surgeon, called in for an emergency." Ben waves it off and continues. "Mason and Bea will be Carter and Marissa Davenport. Not really sure who they are, but I do know they aren't even in the country."
