Song: Let It Die (Acoustic) by Starset
---------
"They're gonna start the movie without us," I say. "We should go."
Tyler buries his face further against the crook of my neck and sighs. "They can wait a few more minutes."
"No, come on." I start to get up and Tyler's face falls into my pillow. "Bea's already there and she'll be coming here if we aren't there in five minutes."
I watch him and tilt my head to the side.
He doesn't move.
"Tyler! Get your ass up or I'm leaving without you."
He groans and lifts himself up on his arms. "Why can't they just watch the movie without us? We have more important things to do."
"What? Like sleeping? No, let's go. I already told Lucy we'd be there."
Tyler huffs and gets out of the bed. "Just so you know, I'd rather be in this bed with you twenty-five seven."
I smile. "I feel honored. Now come on."
Our hands link together and we leave the room. We walk a little way down the hall and stop in front of his room he shares with Benji and Lucy. Tyler unlocks it, but hesitates of course. I tell him again I'm not changing my mind.
When we step inside, I hear laughter first off. Tyler drops my hand and we look at each other. Mason's standing in front of their laptop and everyone else surrounds them.
"What's so funny?" Tyler asks. "It can't be too funny since I wasn't here."
Mason straightens his spine and turns to us with a huge grin on his face. "Check Instagram."
I don't even go for my phone.
Tyler plucks his from his pocket and unlocks it. I watch over his shoulder as he opens Instagram. He starts scrolling through his busy feed and then stops. I grab onto to Tyler's arm and squeeze. "Oh my gosh!" I yell.
It's a picture of Tyler and I. And it's not your cute prom picture, but a picture of Tyler kissing me with a grip on my face. It was right after their show and Tyler ran to me, I remember that. After he kissed me, I didn't remember too much after that and I definitely don't remember Mason taking a picture.
"Delete it!" I yell again.
Tyler starts laughing and shows me a closer picture. "It's a good angle."
My face turns to flames. "Mason!" I screech. "Delete it!"
He crosses his arms and shakes his head. "Not happening. This is revenge for...you know."
"It wasn't my fault," I protest. "Blame him."
"Look at it this way, Maggie," Tyler says and points to the picture. "Now the world knows about our exquisite love."
I grab his phone. "How are you so calm about this?"
"Why wouldn't I be?" He takes the phone back and stuffs it into his pocket. "People definitely have something to talk about now."
I swallow the lump in my throat. "How many...how many followers do you have?"
"Well, considering I posted it on my account and the band account...over five-hundred thousand."
