"We only have about ten more pictures to look at. During the end, I switched up the lenses a little bit and—"
Tyler kisses me. Just a quick peck.
"—I think it turned out really well. I might start doing that from now—"
Tyler's lips land on mine again and he keeps kissing me.
I laugh and lean back, trying to keep my gaze focused on the task at hand. Which is going through band photos. Asking Tyler to help probably wasn't a good idea now. Well, I'm not sure it ever is. "We have things to do," I tell him and focus on the computer screen. "And I do want to go to bed sometime tonight."
He plants his lips on my cheek. "We have a day off tomorrow."
"I know, but if we finish tonight, we'll have time to do whatever we want tomorrow."
"I can tell you now I don't plan on doing much," he murmurs. "Which means tomorrow is the perfect day to introduce you to the world of Star Wars."
I swivel in the chair to face him. "You mean the one with hot Darth Vader?" I joke, but I say it with a straight face.
When his face falls, I can tell her thinks I'm serious.
I start laughing. "I'm kidding."
Tyler points a finger in my direction. "You have a death wish."
I laugh again and face the screen of my laptop. "Yeah, okay," I say sarcastically. "We'll watch Star Wars tomorrow, but then you have to watch Parks and Rec."
"Fine," he agrees. "I'll literally watch anything. I've seen just about all the Nicholas Sparks movies, only cried during A Walk to Remember, so you can't tease me with rom-coms because I'll most likely watch it and I'll probably enjoy it."
My laughing doesn't stop. "Thanks for telling me all that. I honestly don't watch many rom-coms. I actually have no idea what kind of movies I watch..." I nibble on my bottom lip.
"I'm glad you know what you want," he teases. "Can I stay here tonight? Or is that weird?"
I glance at him before returning my eyes to my screen. "We've slept in the same bed before, Ty."
Tyler doesn't respond and he's oddly quiet.
So I turn in my chair again and he's smiling at me. "What?" I question.
"You called me Ty," he responds and rests his elbow on the desk.
"Oh, sorry," I say quickly. "I didn't—"
"I don't have a problem with it," he interrupts. "Both of my mom's still call me Ty. Have been since I was little. The band does sometimes, but they rarely use my name anyway. It's usually dumbass or idiot." Then he grins. "Ty is better."
I smile. "Let's get this done. We don't have much left."
We go back to work, selecting a few more pictures out of the ten and sticking them in the favorites folder. After that, we both stand and I stretch out my arms. "I'll edit some tomorrow and post them on the band Instagram and the gallery on the website."
"You work too much," he tells me.
"But I love what I do," I inform him. "So I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Benji owes me ten bucks," I hear a voice say. "And I owe Ella twenty."
I hear the rustle of the blanket beside me and then movement. My eyes flutter open and I know I'm on my side. Tyler's behind me, but he isn't awake yet. He moved and that's it. No other movement.
