I remember that day vividly. Jay jogged over to my house again like he always did, in a sweatshirt and well...joggers. He lived right next to me but he always made a point of jogging.
I was in my room and my eyes were trailing his enthusiastic blaze for my house. Jay should've been an Olympian.
"Amber, Jay's here!" My mom called from the living room.
I heard her coo to him, "C'mon dearie, take a seat. Want some cookies?"
In a minute, I was down in my pink hoodie and black joggers. I was fiddling with my iPhone as I skipped down the stairs.
Immediately I swung my head up to look at him.
"Jay, you look tots amazing!" I cooed over him.
He was blushing now, "I don't think so, but thanks?"
Even if he didn't look amazing, Jay appeared fit and smart in his joggers and sweatshirt. I always wondered why he wasn't 'popular'. Jocks always were in Disney movies.
"I guess we should get going uhn," he called to my mom.
She looked reluctant to say yes but ran into the kitchen and got out a Ziploc bag filles with Skittles, Maltesers and all the other things we should thank God for.
"You two can share, right?" She gestured towards us.
Jay nodded and grinned. "Thanks, Mrs.Bloom."
He jogged out of my house and I followed, waving him to slow down.A/N
Yeah, it's short. But I just wanted to introduce the characters of Jay and Amber. I hope you love them.
