Chapter Twenty
Louis' P.O.V.
I met up with Harry at two in the morning a couple days later after we worked out the kinks. Jacob had left the day before; since Harry had returned, he was no longer needed. We were back on schedule for the shows but I couldn't care less. I was focused on Harry's spell. It was risky but, to be honest, I was a little scared of him. I didn't know what he would do if I didn't compromise.
About fifteen minutes ago, I had snuck out of our tour bus whilst everyone was asleep and met up with Harry, who was sat in the living area. We then proceeded to leave the bus, quietly and stealthily, before hiding in a nearby, dense group of trees. Now, I was explaining my plan.
"Got it?" I finished, waiting expectantly.
"I think so," Harry nodded. "So, you make a magical decoy for me now whilst I go fetch the rocks. Then, when I get back, we make a new copy - since the last one will have weakened - and I go to get an original, classic painting, which I replace with a cheap print-out from the internet. Is that it?"
I smiled. "Yeah. Remember, the decoy will last a maximum of two days, so no dawdling."
"OK, then let's get on with it."
I nodded and pointed behind Harry. "Look!"
"Where?" he asked, turning around hurriedly. When he was looking away, I plucked a curly hair from his head, drawing a deadly glare from him; I had never seen him look that scary. "What was that for?!"
"DNA," I answered nonchalantly, making my way over to a nearby puddle. I bent down and began to chant. Once I finished, I dropped Harry's curly hair into the liquid and jumped behind a tree. Harry quickly proceeded to do the same.
After a bright flash of coloured light, I emerged from my hiding spot slowly. This motion, Harry also copied. I studied the puddle closely.
"It didn't wor--" Harry began, but I shooshed him, still watching the puddle intently.
After a long, long while, a single ripple made its way from the centre of the puddle outwards. I then noticed something brown poke through the barrier between liquid and air. Harry and I watched intently; I had not performed this spell yet, so I was hugely interested.
The brown slowly rose up, and soon a head was exposed. It kept rising, leading to shoulders, chest, stomach, thighs, knees, ankles and, finally, feet. And then, before us, stood a soaking wet, awkwardly naked, perfect copy of Harry. I almost fainted when he opened his emerald green eyes and suddenly became animated.

Harry's P.O.V.
Yes, I was terrified of the imposter stood shivering before Louis and I, but I quickly recovered. It wasn't like it was permanent! It'd be gone in a day or two.
So, I dashed back to the tour bus and silently found some clothes. When I arrived back to Louis and 'Harry', they were sat underneath a tree. Louis smiled when he saw the clothes. I handed them to 'Harry' and turned around so he could change. Louis stood up and joined me.
"He already has your memories, thoughts and feelings programmed," explained Louis. "And don't worry, he'll keep your secrets."
"Can we trust it?" I asked, feeling slightly perterbed at the sight of... well, me.
"Of course we can." Louis smiled at me reassuringly.
"What do I call it?"
"Call him Harry."
I raised an eyebrow at my best friend, and received a shrug, as if to sat 'what?'.
"I'm dressed," said 'Harry'. We turned back around and looked him over.
"The resemblence is uncanny," Louis observed.
"Are you kidding?" I asked, standing next to my double. "We look totally different."
"Eh," muttered Louis, before looking up. He sighed. "It'll be dawn soon. You should be going."
"OK," I mumbled.
Louis pulled out a chain with a small, black stone attached to it. He held it to his mouth, whispered something into it, then handed it to me. Out of habit, I tied it around my neck and hid it underneath my shirt to protect it.
"When you want to go home, just whisper 'home' into the pendant," Louis directed. I nodded. I noticed tears prick in Louis' eyes before he gave me a huge bear hug. "Please be careful," he whispered in my ear.
"I will," I assured him. When we pulled apart, Louis managed a small half-smile before holding his arms out before him, palms facing me. He spoke some words I had never heard and magic tendrils wormed out of his hands and towards me. I closed my eyes, breathed in, breathed out and then opened them.
The last I saw of Louis were his magic tendrils snaking around me.
The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was a splatter of lava land just an inch from my left foot. Great, I already almost lost a limb. This trip is going to be the complete opposite of successful.
A/N So I thought I'd make Phase 2 a 3-parter. Maybe even a 4-parter. I want to stretch out the action as much as possible!
Hope you all enjoyed the update! Next one will be next Saturday! Thanks everyone! :D
