They were now in front of their History classroom, Liza opened the door for the both of them, they walked straight to their proper seats which were beside each other, but before Nadine could take a seat she felt someone hug her from behind.

"Nadineeeee!!!" Bret chirped.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Liza yelled.

"Hm? I'm hugging my friend why?" Bret innocently asked.

Nadine gently took of his hold on her and turned around to face him. Bret gave her a cheeky grin while scratching the back of his head.

"Good morning!" He greeted.

"Good morning to you too, Bret." Nadine smiled.

"Ah! Here, you forgot this yesterday at the parlor." Bret said handling out her sketchpad.

Nadine's eyes widened in surprise, "So that's why my bag was a little lighter yesterday. Thanks!"

"It's nothing. Hey, can we go eat ice cream again later?"

"Uhm... Sorry, me and Liza are going shopping with my cousin later after school."

"Well can I join you? I'll behave promise!" Bret then made a cross on his heart and raised his hand.

"Sorry but my cousin said only three of us. Kinda like a bonding time." Nadine said, looking at Liza who was watching them.

Bret pouted and his shoulders slumped. "Alright. But promise me we'll eat ice cream again tomorrow?"

"Okay, okay, I promise!" Nadine laughed.

"Hey, Nadz!!! Oh... And hi, Bret." They heard James say.

"Hey, bro." Bret waved at him.

"Hey, James. Morning!" Nadine happily greeted.

"Look, Bret *sighs* I'm sorry for what I did yesterday. I just didn't know what the hell came over me. I hope you can forgive me." James apologized and looked down, biting his bottom lip.

He felt Bret slap him in the back. "It's okay, bro! No prob. I forgive ya!"

James felt relieved, he pat Bret on the back and turned to Nadine who was now sitting quietly while hugging her bag.

"Nadz, I'm sorry for yesterday. Helga just dragged me away but I swear I didn't want to come and eat with her and her, uhm, friends." James sincerely said.

Nadine only looked at him in confusion. "Who's Helga?"

"You know! The girl from ROZEZ." James hinted.

"Dude, that's Sofia. Not Helga." Nadine shook her head and smiled up on him.

"Wew! Sorry, I keep on forgetting her name." James laughed.

Liza raised her eyebrow at him and shook her head.

"Nadz, can I seat here next to you?" Bret asked pointing at the chair next to her.

"Sure, I guess."

"I'll seat next to you then." James said and pulled the chair that was next to Liza.

"Whatevs, dude."

Their teacher went in in a dramatic way, he grabbed a chalk from her desk and harshly wrote something on the board. Nadine watched him and her eyes widened in shock, she felt her breathing become shallow.

Nadine could hear their screams for mercy and voices in her head. Flashes of the place where she used to be came in her mind.

She didn't notice her tears streaming down her cheeks and her shoulders were shaking.

Liza noticed this and looked at Nadine staring wide-eyed something in front. She followed her gaze and she too, was in shock.

"Can someone tell me what in The Kidnapping Incident in WWIII?" Their teacher asked, knocking his knuckles on the board.

One student raised his hand. "I don't remember the exact date but all I know is 105 children were kidnapped to use for experiments. Almost all of them dies though."

"Li-Liam... Josh... F-Friday." She heard Nadine whisper their names.

"Nadz?! Are you okay?" She also heard Bret asked worriedly to Nadine.

She fucking needs to get Nadine out of here...

She quickly shot out her hand and called for her teacher's name.

"Sir Erol! Sir Erol! Nadine's not feeling well! Can I take her to the clinic?!" She asked wuth a tinge of pleading in her tone when she asked if she could bring to the clinic.

Nadine quickly wiped away her tears and looked down.

"What seems to be the problem, Ms. Soberano?" Their teacher, Sir Erol, asked.

"Nadine's not feeling well. She said her head hurts, can I take her to the clinic?"

"Okay then." Sir Erol shrugged.
