Chapter 30.

Nadine and Liza's also Daniel's house somewhere in the woods- 4:36 PM...

Liza stared at the ceiling of her room, it's been a while since Nadine and her got home from Enrique's house. She turned her body on her soft bed and hugged her squishy, fluffy human-size white teddy bear that Nadine gave to her when they first moved in their house in the woods.

She buried her nose in its head and sniffed the stuffed toy, it still smells lavender. She roamed her eyes around her plain room she sat up on her bed and leaned back on the headboard; still hugging her bear.

*Thug! Dug!*

Liza's eyes widened when she felt another pain in her chest, she breathed deeply trying to calm herself down.

She shakily gets off of her bed and pushes her bed with all her might just enough to see the hidden floorboard underneath where she hides her 'medicines' that she and Nadine made.

She opened the floorboard and inside; buried a small steel box with just the size of a shoe box. She carefully lifted it and set it down on her lap.

Liza pushed the small red button and then the box opens, inside were injections filled with green-ish substance inside. She picked one up and directly injected the substance in her neck; near her pulse.

Her body fell on the floor with a thud, her hands letting go of the injection she used. She groaned in pain when she felt her 'medicine' enter her internal system, sweat covered her forehead and her breathing became short gasps: these are one of the effects on the 'medicine'.

*knock! Knock!*

"Ate Liza?! Are you okay?" Daniel asks from outside her door.

"I'm *gasp* f-fine! I'll come ou-out in a sec!" Liza managed to say despite of the pain she's feeling.

"Liza?! What are you doing?! Open this d-door! Now!" She can hear Nadine's worried voice.

'Just a few more seconds and this bitch-ass pain will gone.' Liza thought.

She counted from 1-20 while she was writhing in pain and Nadine's frantic, worried yells could be heard outside her room.

Liza stopped writhing in pain and now her breathing pattern became normal, she wiped off the sweat on her forehead, closed the steel box and hid it under the floorboards, pushed back her bed in its usual place and opened the door.

Nadine immediately saw Liza's neck and it was slightly bleeding.

"You injected it all by yourself?!" Nadine yells completely angry at Liza.

"Yes. I did, it's okay I'm fine now!"

"But what if you injected it on the wrong place huh?! Liza naman! You could've just asked me to inject it to you!" Nadine put her hands in her face and turned to Daniel.

"Dan, go into your room for a sec. Now." Nadine ordered and Daniel quickly ran to his room, silently wishing that both of his Ates will be alright.

"Now, back to you: why didn't you tell me?" Nadine turned to Liza and went inside of her room.

"Come on, Nadz! I'm fine now! I injected it to the right spot and I'm still alive! No biggie."

"DON'T TELL ME IT'S NO BIGGIE! LIZA, I'M JUST WORRIED!" Nadine didn't mean to raise her voice.

"See?! This is why I didn't want to tell you! I DON'T want you to get worried because I know that you have many things in your mind right now! and I don't want to add to your stress!" Liza yelled.
